Hi, share ko lang sa yo experience ko 4 years ago ng nakuha ko yung Dink $5k line sweater sa Firebird maganda resulta sa akin kahit icross ko sa ibang family ng
Dink $5K ( RED Gamefarm ) sila yung family ng sweater na may cutting at game.
Pero nung pumasyal ako sa farm ni Biboy last Nov 2008 may iba na sya family ng Dink Sweater Possum at blend nya ito sa mga $5K line nya base na rin record book nya.

Nakakuha ako last week ng hi-action mclean personal (female) ni sir biboy, 10K

FIREBIRD SWEATER...they don't win.

They have the BEST MATERIALS in the world, but they just could not get the World Slasher Cup.

They import every year. Biboy even imported too much stocks in preparation for AUGUST 2007 because he feared that shipment of gamefowls will be totally banned. Despite such fact, I have not seen him making the points.

I think, he works his chickens too much. Or perhaps, his too bookish, and sticks to conditioning applicable only in birds in America.

In the book written by Antonio Hidalgo, he wrote that you cannot train roosters. All the otso-otso, hagis-hagis, taob-taob, flips, etc, does not work. The chicken's ability is innate in him. If he fights that way, he fights that way.

Try to pit a native chicken yet trained by the best of the best handlers in the world, and we will pit it against a Sweater which grew up 100% healthy and conditioned naturally. We'll see if the trained native chicken would be able to hit on command.

The only thing to train a rooster is thru sparring. They will learn that getting hit is painful, and will try to adjust their game. But if they are grounders, they will remain that way, and if they are salto, they will always be a salto.

It's the breeder who should control how his birds would fight, by infusing bloodlines that would complement the fighting style. Natural conditioning is the best thing to do. People over-work the fowls, that's why when they are inside the pit, they are wasted.

Patrick Antonio does not subscribe in controlling the water. He claims that controlling the water is only applicable in America, where the temperature is different. In the Philippines, which is a tropical country, our birds need water in order not to be dehydrated.

Compare the records of Patrick and Biboy, Biboy is lagging too far behind. Yet their fowls are the same. Before PA took Joe Sanford, Joe was first a partner of Biboy but Joe is more productive with PA. As to selection, no question about it Biboy is a good selector, I believe.

For me, I think, his fowls are just overworked.

Imagine...try to make Pacquiao fight after grueling workout and you'll see a sluggish fighter. It happened when they introduced the pylometrics(?)

But, this is just only my opinion.

na sya yun natutunan ko na firebird farm.

FIREBIRD SWEATERS come from the best materials money could buy.

It's just that during the previous WSC, they just could not manage to be consistent in winning, unlike BLUE BLADE (never got the trophy but consistent with 5W's and above).

FIREBIRD gets 3, 2, and 4. JM FANTASTIC
scores better using the same DINK MATERIALS with 5 to 6 WINS.

I agree with what you said in controlling the fowls. Based on your personal analysis, they are not overworked, perhaps dehydrated. It's just my observation that they are overworked, but I think there is something wrong in handling. (Verified)

As the saying goes, why fix something, when there's nothing to fix? You do more harm than good.

If you'll ask me if I would buy FIREBIRD SWEATERS? They are surely excellent birds. I definitely would, but I would just not bet when FIREBIRD releases them. In cockfighting, it's not all bloodlines. Many factors should be considered like handling and conditioning.

As regards to SANFORD, it just means that PA is a better selector than Biboy. Besides, there is an unwritten rule in WSC: pit birds at least 3 years old and above and must be multiwinners.

If BIBOY uses SANFORD birds at 20 months, that's his way of selection. There's nothing wrong with using 20 month old birds, but he who selects 3 year olds is smarter in selection.

I have nothing against BIBOY. (I know his wife IRYNE from her GOLDEN RETRIEVERS.)

It's good that they have a great score in WSC. It's about time.

It's just my opinion anyway.

But then again, sabong ay mahiwaga, minsan talo, minsan panalo. Baka sobrang swerte lang ang iba.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it that FIREBIRD ENTRY has two entries???

If that is the case, they didn't qualify for the semi-finals or they reached only until the semi-finals???

They fought only 7 fowls. 4 fowls from first entry and 3 fowls on the second entry?

The score is fair enough, if they have only 1 entry.:)

JP Cherokee and Cherokee Archangel had 4W-0L and 3W-1D respectively during the eliminations up to the semi-finals. Mayor Jesry Palmares has a fair score.

Unfortunately, however, during the finals, they lost their first 4 fights. They have reasons why they encountered those losses...(not air-conditioned cockhouse with exhaust fan coming from Dencio's polluting the room). I could say, JP fowls are good.:) I think he got 8 WINS with 4 LOSSES.

I got the privilege last Saturday (WSD FINALS) na makasama sa cockhouse ng Firebird Team... nakita ko mga manok na kanilang inilaban and nahipo AFTER the fight, very impressed ako. Though natalo ang isa it was a very tough fight... the other two WON ALMOST UNSCATHED. Malamang balik na cord mga manok na yun. :)

Excellent feature in TUKAAN two weeks ago: KGB Blackwater. I heard kase mukhang nag-pahinga si Francis sa breeding. I was able to talk to him when he was selling his GSD to me.

Si Boy Marzo, tumakbo kase yung Stag n'ya dati....

Marami lang talagang factors.

Sabong nga eh...mahiwaga.

Ang sabong sport lang.

sir tres i think PA have lots of losses also in the recently concluded WSC. My Pinsan was there watching in the finals and he said that PA's entries suffered many losses. I also wonder why PA havent won a championship in Candelaria. What do you think?

From what I heard, one of Patrick Antonio's Entry is 6W-2L and was competing for a possible spot among the Champions but to no avail.

Truly, Patrick Antonio has many entries, to endorse his SAGUPAAN PRODUCTS. I believe 1 entry for every SAGUPAAN PRODUCT. Although accumulating many losses is a possibility considering the many entries that he has; yet still, we could not discount the fact that at least one or two of his entries, (mostly those where he is teamed with Joe Sanford) seem scoring the W's to contend for the top spot.

Some entries of Patrick Antonio, I believe he only finances, just to put a SAGUPAAN PRODUCT in the entry name. I know he has many partners aside from JOE SANFORD.

Patrick Antonio, still is consistent.:) His entries which have a poor record may be better than the scores of many others....

In the WORLD SLASHER CUP, each day, the competition becomes tougher and tougher. Each cocker goes a higher notch every win meeting invincible and formidable cockers as they reach the FINALS.

Being able to fight in the semi-finals means that the gamefowls are tough.

It's a disaster however, if despite of many entries, none of those entries make it to the semi-finals, when during the first two days, it's still anybody's ballgame.

CANDELARIA

Antonio has won the World Slasher Cup numerous times if I am not mistaken. However, the CANDELARIA just seems to be elusive to him.

Well, millions of factors to be considered. One could be the fact that Patrick Antonio's fowls are coming from Luzon which requires shipping thereby increasing stress amongst the fowls. Second, the fowls still need to acclimatize or adopt the weather there.

On the other hand, many participants enjoy the homecourt advantage especially those based in Bacolod and Iloilo.

I don't know....

But if I'll rate the degree of toughness between CANDELARIA and WSC, I think CANDELARIA is tougher.

Again, that's just my opinion.:)

So long as your fowls are consistent, you have great fowls; provided that, they are consistently winning and not consistently losing.;)

No, in taking up the winning percentage, the number of entries does not matter.:)

A 60% winning percentage is a 60% winning percentage such as 3W-2L, 30W-20L....you will still arrive at 60%.;) Math is an exact science.

Regardless whether PA has only one entry or thousands of entry, a winning percentage is a winning percentage.

You don't count the wins, you take the winning percentage.

FIREBIRD HAS 58% WINNING PERCENTAGE WITH 4W-2L-1D SCORE!!!:)

But what we could not see in the winning percentage is the fact that while the competition proceeds to the end, the competition becomes tougher and tougher.

Being able to qualify to the latter end of the ballgame is conclusive that your fowls are excellent and are of top quality.

However, if you stumble during the first two days, while you still have to face anybody...boy, that's something to think about.:)

WINNING PERCENTAGE IS CONSTANT, IT DOES NOT CHANGE REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES, WHAT CHANGES IS THE CHANCE THAT YOU COULD RECOVER SOME LOST BETS....:) PA is too smart a businessman to let his losses empty his pockets.

I think PA has the upper hand on this one, being a buyer he can choose the fowls he wants and with him being a very good selector puts his winning percentage high.

Speaking about FIREBIRD GAMEFARM, I know he has the best fowls money could buy, but perhaps he is using too much DINK FAIR SWEATER.

From what I heard from Atty. Jun Mendoza is that they use only 1/4 blood of the DINK FAIR SWEATER. This Sweater was built for the gaff, even DINK FAIR admitted that due to the infusion of ALBANY BLOOD. He bred his birds for Mexico.

It could be a factor.:) I have not met BIBOY ENRIQUEZ yet so all these are purely speculations--simply for chat purposes. Perhaps soon I'll have first hand info....

I'm even thinking of using his FIREBIRD DINK SWEATER (Oklahoma Sweater) to infuse with the Alabama Sweaters for power, instead of using Hatches. Unfortunately, my POSSUM DINK died due to coryza.

My suggestion is that if you are going to cross the materials you are going to get from Biboy, is to go for the Kelso Out and Out. He has been breeding this line for a very long time and is proven. I personally own fowls from Biboy and the inventory is as follows:

1. Kelso Out and Out (stag and pullet)
2. Joe Sanford Sweater (stag and pullet)
3. Lacy Roundhead (bullstag)
4. Claret (bullstag)
5. YLH cross of Dink and George Neal (bullstag)
6. Hi-Action McLean (pullets only)

Thus far, when I sparred them, the hardest hitter with the most bottom is the Sanford sweater. The very "malikot" ones that does a lot of "wave" are the Kelso and Claret. The YLH is very good. Multiple shuffler and you don't want him to get a bill hold. He will give a long and multiple shuffle. Most intelligent fighter thus far is the Lacy Roundhead. If the other cock gets distracted, that's when he hits... and does not stop hitting putting the opponent off balance. I have sparred them with my Typhoon line (Peter Uy's Lemon 84 line - green legs) and they are impressive. Hopefully, I will get some very good warriors in the months to come. I have bread this way:

1. Kelso over sweater and backwards;
2. Roundhead over McLean Hatch;
3. Pure sweater (for insurance purposes)
4. Pure Kelso (for insurance purposes)
5. YLH over Sanford Sweater;
6. Rhoundhead over sweater;
7. Claret over my importer hens (toppie and Red Richardson Kelso)
8. Claret over McLean Hatch;

Thus far, the chicks look great and healthy. This seems to be a lot of breeds but these are just few of each kind and I would like to see how they spar before I do a full blown breeding and setting of a certain strain.
