The first day event gave us a chance to meet up and eyeball with fellow CF's and amiable sabong.net members and personalities like Roy Malalim, Mandy, ChiliSM, malviolo, dong1967( who goes to the pit almost everyday) , Salvaje and Kahig whose "Salvaje Jones" entry garnered 1.5 points.
We also got the chance to do some small talk with Manong Boy Marzo of Bulalayaw fame. Bale 2 entries siya. Yung isa is solo manok nya ang gamit at yung isa naman e puro manok ni sabong.net member Jay Ancheta using 3 year old imported cocks. Jay's entry is STONE COUNTY, medyo malas yata yung kay Jay kasi parehas na talo. He was matched against PA (with 5 entries!!) and Mauro Prieto's Anito entry. Manong Boy's own entry naman got a respectable WIN and a DRAW na parehas na pahirapan.
At the far end of the MERON side all by his lonesome is Meliton Galo.
We were expecting Caloy from Singapore to show up pero wala sya. Anong nangyari Caloy?
Syanga pala, Orlie Mendoza was also there. Of course naroon din si Mang Fred, who pitted the Liza Galore entry. Naroon din sa VIP row si Idol Manny Pacquiao katabi si Rudy Salud and Lito Orillaza.
Those of U out there who want to get in touch with the group, silip lang kayo sa Starbucks kung maaga pa or proceed to the right side of the MERON sign opposite the fastfood area. Usap tayo.
Bilib ako talaga kay Dennis Roldan pumusta. His Sunriser entry was the first fight kalaban entry ng Ampil Bros na AIR ASSULT 8 NGBA. Parada agad is 330k.. ni wala pang katao tao. Nakasa lang yata e 110k, largely thru the efforts of the balik-kasador ABU CENTENO. Abu got a standing ovation when he stepped in as the events kasador. Akala ng karamihan si SHIO pa rin kasi ang magkakasa. Anyway, it is obvious na mas gusto ng tao ang pagkakasa ni Abu kasi may comedy . BTW, nanalo si Dennis sa first fight nya ;)
Mga laban naman ni Roger Roberts e sa tingin ko ay talagang napares ... equally matched ika nga.
Pahirapan din yung (first fight) laban ni Blue Blade San Pablo na nakita ko. Akala ko talo na yung kay Sonny L nang biglang natuwa si Long Hair (handler ni Sonny).... panalo nga! Kalaban nila e yung "Agustin Roxas - 5 cock" entry. Nalagay sa Wala side si SL dahil mas konti ang parada pero sa labas e ang na-llamado e si Sonny din.
Cong Rudy Albano pitted his first fight " Mulawin A Jimafer" against "Smarty Joe". Cong Rudy lost. Hindi na umakyat ulit. hehehe
Balita ko e pahiyang muna yung Handler Gaffer ni Cong Claudie B. Iba ang nag-bitaw ng entry nila "CBP Farm Binangonan"
I was impressed with the fight between SAGUPAAN BPZ (PA using BPZ fowls!) vs KGB Vertical ni Francis Lumunsad .. fight 25.. dehado cyempre si Francis. Guess who won?
2 Negro na manok ang nakita kong nanalo kagabi, 1 is a Sagupaan entry (parang bonanza brassback) and the other was the first fight of Winning Time -Jobo. Malamang eto yung DVH line nila! Magagaling!
