Doc Robinson Hatch is a cross between Ray Hoskins Hatch and Clarence Stewart. If you want to maintain the Hatch breed, you can breed it to the Robinson Hatch for infusion. Hope there are some good advice out there. Try which one suits the need of your gamefowls.
Goodluck.

Ben,
I think that you delighted to know that yes I am connected to Mr. Steward and yes I have the Hatch chickens that you are talking about. Me and Clarence Steward's grandson trade brood stock. The Stewards were originally Yellow Legged but I had them start coming Green Legged and over the years Ive been breeding them to the Green Legged side and have been very successful with them. They are absolutely the gamest chickens I have ever seen. Most people these days are breeding for flashy pretty chickens but these Steward's are Game to the core Power house type roosters that overwhelm a rooster and demoralize they're opponent. They absolutely will not stop and get stronger the longer they go. Like you said in your E-mail, they are kind of hard to raise because of the fact that they like to eat each other as baby chicks and try to kill each other when they get older. Well to answer your question , "yes" these are the same hatch chickens that Clarence Steward and Doc Robinson bred. A lot of people did not know that Doc and Clarence were partners on these chickens. I am pretty sure that no one breeds more Steward's and they're crosses than me. Well thank you for your interest .
Your Friend,
Jerry
P.S I have reference's all over the world from the Philippines to Mexico and everywhere in between on my fowl. I don't show anything that doesn't have Steward in it. Thanks again
We lost all our Clarence Stewart hatch blood do to hurricane Dolly 4 years ago was going to try too replace it with Jerry's blood but never did saw his pic on a Mexican gamecock magazine this summer "pea de crea" I think it was he is a young man.
