Buenas senor......we Filipinos fight always in the long heels though some guys here in the United States sometimes will consider the short knife competition. And it's so seldom that you see Filipinos breeding Spanish fowls.Maybe there are handful who have them but most of the time they are crossed with American fowls that makes them suitable for the Long Knife .Gustavo Sanchez of Miami,Florida has good Postiza fowls and so with the Tapia's of Homestead,Florida.
I got some Spanish/asil and Spanish hens from Mr. Orlando Gomez formerly from Miami and now residing in Crescent City,Florida. We crossed them with our Roundheads and Sweaters.....the product looks good and promising and now more suitable for the Long Knife competition. To fight them pure in our weapon probably is not the best choice.
Anyway, thanks a lot for your interest in our beloved tradition, cockfighting ,though our rights to fight has been slowly taken away.....you stand firm to own and posses your prized warriors!:hombre: chiaooo!!!!
