Both of them. Mel had good fowl. But the way Steve bred them made them exceptional for the style on the islands. I really would like to talk chickens with Steve but I lost contact with him.

Is this Steve Curren from Texas?Im from the big island of Hawaii, when i lived on Maui in the early 90's, I worked for T. Cabradilla who got birds from a Mr. Steve Curran from Texas. If this is the same guy,he had some awesome y/l and w/l. I think they were hatch/kelso

Allin808, yes it's the same Steve Currin. The yellow and white legged fowl were hatch kelso and/or kelso. Steve's no longer active as he retired from it. I'm his nephew. I hate that he quit, but I've still got a good mentor :) take care
