over the influx of help coming from all sectors and nations. mga politicos, remember ormoc ! have a heart pls.

doc sonny will give us an upate next week. his farm is back to normal. although the weather has always been wet, work and things are getting to be manageable. he is
eyeing affected kids (lost parents/relatives) as recipients
of however small small we can gather. he is looking at
continuos schooling of affected kids or kid, hehe.

Also, on sat., 4 March, after the assembly at Big Roy's
we will go straight to the farm of Bai Izlo. We will again

As previously posted, last Thursday March 9, I updated the EVGBA account at PNB Ormoc. Details:

1. All the donations previously posted were all accounted for except the auctioned price of bai Abai's Hochatown Trio. I am sorry to inform everybody that as of 3:00 PM of March 9, the amount still not there whereas the pledge of CF member pareng Maning of 5,045.00 pesos equivalent of US$ 100.00 that was pledged very much later to that, was already there.I will keep communicating with PNB Ormoc on tracking down this amount and if received, will coordinate with Doc Sonny.

At 4AM of March 10 Yesteday, I left Isabel for our ETD in Ormoc of 5AM. Along the way, 25 kms from Ormoc, received text from bai Izlo checking my location as he was in Ormoc City already. Finally, around 3 kms from Ormoc, received text again from bai Izlo that he went back to his farm in San Jose because nakalimtan ang ARANETA WINNERS ni Doc Sonny he he he. So, finally we left Ormoc at around 6AM(1 hour behind the ETD). We dropped at Baybay to pick bai Earl Nunez. So, after 4 hours of journey with bai Izlo's Isuzu Trooper(I left my L200 at Bato, Leyte as back-up), we finally arrived at Doc Sonny's farm. We still had 1 hour to wait for 11:00 AM appointment with the Guinsaogon barangay officials so chika2 muna with Doc and his farm hands. Handed-over the donations less the diesel the total amount of Fifty Seven Thousand and Four Hundred Fifty(P57,450.00)pesos to Doc Sonny, this is in addition to the Twenty Three Thousand Five Hundred(P23,500.00)pesos previously collected funds.Handed-over also one cartoon of used clothings. He discussed the final project. Due to some duplications of projects, the FINAL EVGBA, NETMEMBERS and CF PROJECT for the calamity victims, is a LIVELIHOOD PROJECT in the form of 2 wooden buildings to house 1,000 heads of day-old chicks(KABIR) as 1st batch of shipment(another donor will be in-charge of the chicks). 2nd batch will be another 1,000 heads until the farm can exist by its own. This was discussed during the meeting with the surviving baranggay officials.Technical know-how of raising the chicks until the selling age of 45 days will be provided by a VISCA instructor, a brother of Doc Sonny.We did some spars of Doc Sonny's bull stags and made a selection for our future derby ventures before heading back home. Inspite of some scary road conditions, as some cement pavements were cracked maybe due to an earhquake, a landslide candidate, we were blessed with a very fine weather. Thanks to bais Izlo and Earl for spending this day's journey and Doc Sonny for that 5-star reception, grabe ang cook ni Doc an Ex-Chief Cook of an international ship and the EX-Vice Mayor of St. Bernard Town.Didto mi katilaw ug kinilaw nga way suka2!!!suaveng-suave lami kaajo mora pud ug humot! mao toy napuli sa banagan kay apiki naman pag-order, matched with a red wine.
