EVGBA'ns, we had a special meeting this afternoon to discuss very important matters

that need decision making soonest.

Present during the meeting were el presidente bai ed, the veepee urs truly, and our

two (2) very energetic and die hard evgban combo, doc joey and bai mark.

Meeting was held at the brand new Agalon Beach Resort in Albuera, Leyte (pics coming

soon courtesy of our el presi na photographer pa).

We arrived at the place 9am, had our morning coffee warm-up and some exchange

of views and ideas (hehe, chismis in short). 10am we started the official meeting and

finished at 1pm.


All details of the meeting and resolutions will be posted later by el presi na, photo-

grapher pa, karon secretary pa jud (hehe, kayod kalabaw ngayon bai ed kasi back to

work sa indonesia na cya by tues).


EVGBA'ns , please focus on the coming posts because we will be posting very important

matters regarding our evgba stag wars and also the bakbakan elims. We will be

posting also RULES/REGULATIONS that might be new to everyone so please post also

your queries and clarifications.

bai dixie loygos in villalon, calubian. our dynamic duo (bai mark n doc joey) will

represent us in the said derby.

Sa tanan EVGBAns, as posted by bai Cholo, here are the things that we have come up with:

1. The EVGBA stag circuit will be named EVGBA STAGFEST 2007 or unless, there will be other brilliant names that other members can suggest of? Accordingly, this can be changed or modified.

2. The original 3 - 4 - 3 formats will be followed meaning a 3-stag derby on September 15, 4-stag on September 28 and 29 and supposedly a 3-stag by October as a clean-up derby. However, the clean-up will be subjected to cancellation depending on the response from the members on the 1st 2 stag derbies. If it will be a popular demand that we have to hold a clean-up derby, then then 3 - 4 - 3 will be complete. At any rate, we will be awarding the EVGBA BREEDER FOR THE YEAR 2007

3. Special Awards - It will be an SOP that in all of our derbies, there will be a FASTEST WIN AWARD. The timing will be taken during every champion fight.

4. Trophies - In cases where there will more champions than the available trophies, the entries with the fastest wins during the championship fights will be recipient of the trophies.

5. Cash Award - During the 4-Stag Derby, there will be a cash prize of 25,000 Php for the entries that will garner 2-straight wins on the elimination day. NOTE: During the next meeting, more clarifications will be done on whether a 25,000 Php cash prize for each entry that will get 2 points or TO BE divided by all entries with 2 points?.

6. Leg bands - new set of leg bands will be requested from our main sponsor

7. Venue - unless announced, the venue will be in Nadongholan Cockpit, Ormoc City

8. Weight Calibration - for those entries far from Ormoc City or those who prefer to have their entry weights submitted, the calibration will be FOR A NEW MODEL GLASS 1-LITER COKE FULLY-FILLED WITH WATER WITH CAP, the weight in the scale = 1.900 kgs. PLEASE NOTE: NEW MODEL GLASS as there is a difference of 10 grams between the new and old models.

9. STAGS TO BE ACCEPTED FOR EVGBA CIRCUIT - only those banded by the EVGBA WILL BE ACCEPTED however, we can accept stags banded by other associations only if the said association is a member of NFGB and the entry must be supported by a CERTIFIED TRUE COPY of the stags registry form duly signed by the association's President with his WORKING contact numbers. For the NON-EVGBA BANDED stags, the standard criteria of 7 - 7 primary wing feathers, uncut/untampered spurs, general appearance of a stag must be adhered to.

10. We will be posting our OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS for the EVGBA 2007 Circuit

11. WEIGHTS TO BE ACCEPTED - 1.700 to 2.200 kgs

12. WORKING COMMITTEE - the working committee for the 2007 circuit will be formed during the next meeting. Mainstays = Doc Joey Chairman for the matching and bai Mark Ferry Chairman for the weighing and submission of weights.

13. BAKBAKAN DERBY - a 3-stag elimination will be held in Ormoc City on November 3, 2007

14. NFGB ISSUES - all matters related to these will be handled by the VP with the set deadline of June 30, 2007

championship. btw, this is also covered by the expert video handling of bai jun (ayayay

around 7pm the regular derby started. doing the opening salvo is the teen warrior of

even i got the surprise of my life, because when i left the cockpit, the other half of the

program was not handed out yet as posted (2 parts) by bai jerky, and when i woke

up this 6am, i got a text msg from bai mark. " chol ang kontra sa imo grey kan benc"

immediately i called up jerky's bro. (jeprox) who handles my roosters to try to hold the

fight sana until the last sultada but i got the reply na ... "noy, pildi ang talisayon", huhu.

i felt sad and at the same time felt also a sigh of relief. bisan napildi ako ace, mas

super ace man sab ang nakapildi. i really dont know what happened at the matching

coz there were specific instructions from me for a "no fight' against evgba entries.

ako pa jud ang nag submit sa weights sa entry nila bai benc and piranha. earlier in the

afternoon of the finals, our el presi's txt msgs for me is like an armalite..pusot2X.

from the tone of his txt msgs i could just imagine fumes exhuming from all exhaust parts

of his head as his 3rd fight ,Hamshire entry is up against his cousins' Wite Wite entry.

he was asking me how could this happen knowing that both entries were isabel entries.

again, the mix up, as i personally texted this entries to the promoter. i felt bad also even

if i do not have a HAND ON THE MATCHING. i have to dress up quick and ate dinner

ahead of my family just so i can take care of the mix up. when i arrived at the venue

i went straight to the cakhaws of atty cordeno (bayaw of bai ed) so as to try to give a

solution to the problem. hehe, atty cordeno was all smile (morag kakita angel) and

greeted me with........bai cholo, daog ang 3rd fight sa Hamshire. again, a sign of relief

for the VP. (ntawn, hintabang ra ko bai ramon c. (promoter) being an evgba member

mao pai dangatan). after seeing the 1st part of the program (paktay wala pa bsan osa

sa ako entry posted didto) i texted bai ed that i am going to take an early rest coz i

really got very very tired waiting for my fights during the elims as well as the straight

4 txt msgs of entries from evgba isabel and evgba caibiran. after watching a few fights

and talking to some friends, i texted bai mark and requested him to be the reporter

muna as i am going home to take a good rest and be back in the morning in time for my

fights.


well, as they say, ALL IS WELL THAT ENDS WELL !!!

am really sorry to disappoint all of you about the blow by blow nevertheless, everything

was covered by our good friend bai jun. from my talks with bai mark, matches to

watch are bai eds 2 entries, the big money (P100k) fights bet. mangoto farm of mr. joe

soberano ( double fight ) with the big "C" and the san pablo entry of atty jun larrazabal.

incidentally, his entry is also 1 of the champions.

have a small say in the matching, there are entries among close friends that has to

gubalane was a victim of this ^%$#@(*()^%@! gang. 4 roosters were taken

from his farm neighbor and 13 from his very own. these guys are pros, bringing with

them barb wire cutters. a 4x very recent VSC winner broodcock, 4 evgba banded

stags, 5 age cocks and 3 broodhens were stolen.
