start to do your scheduled (depends on you/trainer how many times/week) sparrings,

be sure that they are healthy and strong (lungs) enough to withstand the rigors of

sparring. once your stag catches the respiratory "sip-on and hagal" problems, you

are back to 1st base. when the objective is to improve their over-all (health condition,

physical and mental abilities) performance weekly and as the fights go near.

Construction of a roughly 350 - 400 sq. meter Lot in Novaliches, Quezon City is going on para sa isang For Rent na Cock Hotel if that's the right term. This will soon to be For Leased to people who wanted to fight their stags or cocks in Metro Manila like Cainta, San Mateo or Araneta, SJC, Roligon, Makati, Pasay, etc but do not have a place to maintain the keeping process of their warriors...it will soon come with a Simple Furnished House (3 bedroom double story), Fly Pens, Scratch Pens, Mini Cockhouse at palakaran ng manok kapag gabi, mini cording area for 7 to 10 teepees with carabao grass...Place is secured with fence and combat wire plus relatives and friends as neighbors....

We also have 2 vans (Adventure and L300 Mitsubishi van) and 1 car for rent in case transportation is needed. Drivers will be provided by us and are part of the package. So there will be less headaches for you to fight in Metro Manila Derbies with this services that we will provide for you.

Once Finished we will put it up FOR RENT...

calls to DAR Kananga re scheduled survery in Libongao. have to be there personally

in Libongao, Kananga to show DAR and the farmer beneficiaries that we mean business.

930am back to main office to oversee our farm payroll and to supervise repairs and

renovations in our bldgs for rent. 10am picked up bai mark and passed by the

monterey meat shop to buy pork chops for our lunch kitakits at scalera farm.

11am up to 245pm kitakits, sparring, and some discussion and exchange of views

re our stag fest and possible financing of entries. 3-4pm visited bai izlos farm and

look into the condition of his stags. 6pm had a dinner and get together with family

at the house of my daughter and son-in law. its 12midnight now and infront of the

compu scanning news here at our thread.

re invits for maasin...i think jong2X is connected with the maasin cockpit mgmnt coz

as far as i know he is the official gaffer of maasin gov. mian mercado before and up to

the present. he might have some connections with the "C" because of the "C, jr."

who incidentally is close with the gov. hope this clarrifies some matters/issues you

might have in mind.

btw, the invits and the streamers were handcarried by doc claire to our office. they

are now with doc joey coz he will fasten the stag rules to our invits after he is done

You might have miscontrued the meaning of "protocol" or better consult your dictionary. In the absence of the President (during his stint in Indonesia), the Vice-President automatically takes over the realm of EVGBA and we as members of the working committee, are doing what is right so the association will run its activities as smoothly as possible. As a matter of fact, before any decisions are made, it is being consulted to our President to give his approval or opinions on that matter. Never did it came to our minds nor aspire to become president of EVGBA even if it was offerred to us several times. All we want is to get this association on its feet and run it as smoothly as possible. We are all professionals here and whatever decisions we make, is all for the good of the association.

there will be free snacks, free tshirts, free veterinary samples, and above all a RAFFLE

will be held for authentic lance dela torre breeder pullets. registration fee is at P100.00

only. again, all these are still in the planning stage. VOLUNTEERS are most welcome.

It needs Lance Angeles to bring the TALENTS in EVGBA you see, he was able to bring Doc Sonny back to the board and showed his wares;) seriously, I suggest that as much as possible ang topic or topics na medyo mainit, we will do it/them by PM. In this case, ma-individualize natin ang issue and the concerned party can entertain them accordingly. My introduction to having an...............during the stagfest, di ko na lang ibanggit kay medyo masakit sa tenga:) was in good faith due to the opportunity that I cited. Anyway, it turned out to be destructive due to sort of a virus kon sa computer pa, buti sana kung virus na WORK dyan sa post ko para we will end up drinking cold beer at Leni's Garden. Let it be known also that during the time that I was trying to avoid the limelight in EVGBA as President, needless to say, it was my impression that anybody who defected our association was at that time had an instant discontentment of who was put in the position, which in this case pointless, how can he be discontented with a guy who just sat in the position?, this is tantamount to KSP(kulang sa pansin) thus his defection. So, in fairness to me during that time, I offered the position to bai Cholo and Doc Sonny OF COURSE by PM. This to SIMPLIFY the matter di ba? baka may gusto sa position na hindi napansin pero it so happened that neither of the two guys WHOM I trusted to be the leader, was ready? OR willing OR the real reason was in their individual heart, it's their secret. The bottom line was, EVGBA started from that point on without looking back and grew up leaps and bounds, we've achieved so many things already with that much big number of members, because of our TEAM EFFORT. Let’s not be disturbed by outside forces, for me, a member with that mentality is another outside force. The rest that I wanted to say had been said by bai Cholo so AMEN….and one more thing, LET'S KEEP EVGBA's friendly atmosphere.

I like your idea of protocol as it is very essential in any establishment. Some points to consider:

1. Lance Angeles is not another nuisance individual who just wants to stir up something, anybody can think he means something based on his statements.
2. He is not a KSP(kulang sa pansin) because he is not a member of EVGBA who might be interested on such attention as the case maybe plus his Total Posts of 5 does not constitute a KSP Phenomenon.
3. We are open to criticism both destructive and constructive.

In view of the above, I sent texts to one of my handlers who is presently doing the training/conditioning of my stags entry for our circuit, to look for some sort of a proof kung tutoo ba ang sinabi nya o hindi?, busy kasi masyado ako during the derby day kaya hindi ko masyado natandaan? . Here are the excerpts: COPY AND PASTE lang ito sa computer na naka-log-in ako sa Chikka.com. By the way, anybody can enjoy the benefit of the Chikka messaging system where the texts from the Philippines cost 2.50 Php per sending and cost nothing for us here abroad. On the other hand, ang sa Baybay Amusement Center, Baybay, Leyte 4-Ck derby done by Purina had the following contact persons as texted to my cell phone not on Chikka: Ed Arellano, Cholo Franco, Luis Alilin, Joey Cortes, Earl Nunez, Sonny Alfaro, Tata Paloma and Michael Caneja

FACTS:
1. It might be that be the Sponsor was responsible for the omission of the other names.
2. The EVGBA officer who coordinated with the Sponsor wanted it that way.
3. The Thunderbird wanted only one name as the contact person, in this case, the Vice-President’s name was given as the only contact person.


Above are just assumption as FACTS:

CONCLUSION:
1. The Vice-President was the lone highest officer in the frontline during the pre-derby period. All inquiries went to him including those from the President who was at that time in the jobsite. This made him very busy and overlooked that situation.
2. We are an association and to get focused on moving forward, we must work in “buddy system”. In time of too much pressure, we must maintain our composure by seeking the help of our buddy. Example: Doc Joey and Bai Mark’s tandem, the EVGBA Main Working Machine.
3. Always plan ahead and make sure each and every plan is implemented. Respect the association, respect the officers, respect everybody.


Remarks from the President: What happened was just a simple lapse due to time constraint and work load. We will get better everyday. Experience Good or Bad, is always a dear teacher. Nobody is perfect.

8:00am After all the compu matching reps of the various asso. signed the registry form
the meeting started promptly upon the arrival of Ms. Rowena, the NFGB i.t. who was
responsible for the matching program. the training was lively and there were exchanges
of ideas, questions answered, and good suggestions very well received. the good thing
with this matching program is that it can be used by our asso. for our local stag and
cock derbies and we were highly encouraged to do so. they will be mailing the compu
matching program end of this month after incorporating the datas and the suggestions
gathered during the meeting.

10:00 am the regular gen. mtg. started with an invocation from mr. jesse ledesma, the
current candelaria champion. after which all local asso. reps stood up, gave their names,
and the asso. they represent. ur humble rep. is seated beside idol victor s. after the
usual call to order, announcement of a quorum, and the approval of the minutes of
last board meeting, the agenda was read by sec. fred katigbak.
1. Poultry and Gamefowl Show on Sept 14 and 15 at SM
NFGB was invited by the Dept of Agri. to put up a booth during the show. NFGB is
very proud to represent the gamefowl industry in the whole of P.I. Interesting
highlights of the show will be :
a. stag auction - as moved by b.o.d. victor s. all local asso. are encouraged to donate
from the their best breeders 1 stag for auctioning. minimum bid
starts at P2,000.00 . there is going to be a sparring of stags being
auctioned for the benefit of interested bidders. this is going to be
a great opportunity for those who are interested to acquire stags
from known breeders (lance dela torre, al garcia, juancho aguirre,
ricoy palmares, jessee ledesma, victor sierra, fred katigbak, sonny
lagon, etc.) at a very affordable price.
there are also breeder pullets that are going to be raffled-of for
the public.

b. in the afternoon, there will be guest speakers to talk about :
- bloodlines (francis afable)
- conditioning (boy marzo)
- healthcare (dr. butch yabut)

c. at the nfgb lobby are the breeding and cocking greats who will be made available
for some interviews. if you are a group and you wanted to collar any of the
mentioned breeding/cocking greats, a table is available where you can sit,
relax, sip some brewed coffee, and throw your questions.


2. NFGB Foundation - nfgb presi ricoy palmares voiced out his suggestion that it is about
time for the nfgb to give back to the people (local asso.) the blessings that our
good Lord has given to the federation. an nfgb foundation will be put up purposedly
to look into the needs of the deserving people directly involved in the federation,
with the local asso. tasked to identify these needs.
at this point the vp from BIGBA took the floor and voiced his gratitude to the nfgb
who helped their group with financial and emotional support during their worst
calamity that hit bicol province.
a P1M security bond required by the SEC was moved the rep from zamboanga for
approval. motion was seconded by the evgba rep. motion unanimously approved
and carried.

there was a lunchbreak after this motion (1:30pm) immediately after the break
came the election for the 6 seats in the board of trustees of the nfgb foundation.
after voting 6 directors to the nnfgb foundation, doc joey and i hitched a ride
with director nitoy nasser who is leaving for cagayan de oro.
am very sorry that i was not able to finish the meeting as i really have to catch
the plane back to tacloban (3pm flight) coz its the b-day of my mother in-law.

confirmed his availability to speak during the seminar on sept 8. you are all invited to
attend including your breeders and handlers. am sure many will get very valuable
inputs from the master breeder himself.


today, doc joey and bai mark are busy distributing our invitations and stag rules for
our coming stagfest this sept 15 28 n 29. many thanks also to doc claire for helping in
the distribution of our invits in the waray areas. we are almost done sending the invits
from the farthest places of our members.

there is going to be an auctioneer and if my memory serves me right its mr joey sy, presi

of rizal gamefowl breeders asso who will introduce the breed of the stag, the weight,

its bloodline, the owner, and the local asso. where the stag came from. proceeds of the

auction will go to the federation. if we have problems with the shipping of stag and pullet,

the nfgb thru mr. arnel anonuevo, will arrange for the shipping and the receiving of the

fowls at the airport. all these for a worthy cause as i believe the nfgb board is very

much focused on the nfgb foundation, our lasting legacy to all those who are behind us.

as to whether the stag or pullet should be banded ? the better if it is.

bai ed, at the nfgb office, doc joey and i noticed all the beautiful birds bred by our local

breeders hanging on wall frames. from reds to greys to whites and blacks to speckle

color. one feather color is missing....the ormoc golds ! here in evgba is gold country,

and we thought, it would not be long, the blow up photo of the majestic ormoc gold

will hang on the wall frame of nfgb.



incidentally, during our coffe break talks, we were all happy to know that cong. baham

mitra (legitimate gamefowl breeder and rooster lover flowing in his blood) is the

chairman of the agriculture committee in congress. we expect a lot of lobbying that

will come from nfgb and hopefully from the other group to pass a law that would put an

end to the invasion of the "***" in our country. today, the cattle (dogs, horses, carabaos,

etc.). tomorrow, it could be our gamefowls. let us not be complacent, who would ever

think that they could impose their will on the mighty america (land of the free). these

group has the moolah and is loaded. as we all know in congress....money talks.



bai monch, you can relax and be at peace. doc joey is staking his integrity and reputation

in this stag derby. all cockerels banded by the evgba passed his hands. he took up

computer lessons (AMA COMPU COLLEGE) during the nights in anticipation of the age of

compu matching during derbies. we all know how difficult it is to be doing the matching

of stags. but with our cooperation and support and with the Almighty's help..evgba will

pass with flying colors.

asso. presis from luzon are asking me who breeds them and how they fight ??

these 3 guys i have seen play and i know they can deliver anytime if in excellent health.
completing the guard postion is rondo. truth is have not seen him play a single game.
but from the stats i think he is pretty much improving specially during their last couple
of games. i really think it the center position which is their weakest slot. dont know much
about perkins either but i thought what they need is somebody of the caliber of ben
wallace. he has the body, the strength, the rebounding, the defense, and he is a team
player.

in our sending out of invits to members from all over the region, here is what we

have observed :

1. all are very excited in our coming soon stagfest;

2. majority have stags on pre-con (bisan mga batan-on pa daw, hehe);

3. those who have few stags that were able to survive have partnered with other mem-

bers who are also in the same boat;

4. those who do not have stags have partnered also with members in the same

predicament and are financing members' banded stags; and,

5. we have received a good number of requests (small members) if it is possible to

reduce our minimum plasada (P2,200 for the 3 stag and P3,300 for the 4 stag).

these small breeder members are joining the stagfest for fun and for testing their

breeds but do not have enough capital (+ - P10K for the 3stag only) to last the

series. i thought their request is reasonable because i was looking at the invits

mr. fred yulo gave me to give to winnie c. and bernie t. for the gfban 8stag 7M

derby. entry fee is P23,500 but the min. bet is ONLY P3,300 for the 6stag clean-

up derby, the entry fee is P7,700 and the min. bet is ONLY P1,100 for the g.p.

of P1M no wonder they have a lot of breeder entries participating. i know these

asso. in negros can do it coz they have a lot of breeders there particapating aside

of course from the no. of days they hold derbies and the funds they have accumu-

lated already for being long enough in the sport. what i am trying to say is, lets

look closely into this possibility. if we can do it..why not ? this is a way of telling

all in the region that we are not here (evgba) for the profit but for the sport we

love and for the members to be able to participate, test their breeds, meet new

friends, and go home enjoying every moment of the stagfest.... win or lose.



bai shane, WELCOME HOME ! got a text msg from him last night inquiring on how

to reserve a cockhouse. told him..NO PROBLEMO mi amigo..just bring your stags

and we'll take care of the cockhouse. he said his stags are in pretty good shape,

and if they stay that way til the 15th and on to the 28th...hehe, 2 entries for the

3stag and 2 entries for the 4 stag. DAGHAN SALAMAT my friend !!!

bai mark and i just came from the nadongholan cockpit a while ago to check with ega
larrazabal and bai ramon on our evgba lounge. nag oban mi bai ramon, bai mark,
and ongi l. to check on the room. the location is perfect, the room spacious, it just
needs some cleaning (dogay naman god wala magamit). okidoki na amoang arrange-
ment. go na ta sa evgba lounge. botangan na lang to og addtl lights, chairs and tables.
we can request also from the canteen for a cooler for our drinks plus an attendant to
check on our needs (food and drinks). naka dala pa jud ko pang feeds kai gi padawat
ko ni jerry maciador deperensya after announcing sa loud speaker our activities.
hehe, sarap ng buhay pag laging ganyan.


we had a grand time yesterday at bgt farm. grabe soltada sparring of stags, non-stop.
bai teddy s. was there with his stags for the cvba 4 stag as well as some stags for our
evgba stagfest. bai edwin and edsel of panta-stic golds was also there bringing with
them a truckload of stags for sparring. doc joey and his crew was there also with their
flying pumpkins and blazing reds. and last but not the least, haydol mark showing
el maso rh-hatches. these small rh-hatches pack a lot of wallop in their feet. finally,
haydol bgt, showing us what hospitality is like in his farm. all of the groups stags found
a match. from the lowest to biggest weight. merienda was served after the sparring.
final match was the most enjoyable of all. newly bought boxing gloves were tested by
two of bgt's farm hands. after 2 rounds of fast action, boom boom won by TKO over
valencia frazier, ahehe. we had a fun time really at the bgt farm. pictures to follow
later.

VP CHOLS, i would suggest that we sell souvenir t-shirts for our stagfest; to be sold of course sa ato lounge area... suggest too, na ang ato i butang na assistant sa lounge area is humot wd a matching smile; to assist us wd our needs while hanging out in there.... dont forget to post the picx here (the sparring sessions at BJT's farm)......
