extreme20s: I am 12,500 miles away, I only know what is going on by rumor. When I left the 28th of April there were more than 500 head on my farm. The 4 month Chris NeSmith stags looked unbeatable, my Blue Miner strain was comming into its own with 15 wins of 17 fights; I cut the neck of my entire White Claret strain; not worth the feed. My Kelsos were consistant winners, the McLean Hatch were as yet untested. The Gleeson Whitchackle/Brownred crosses were winning their share. Another year and I am sure the bigtime would begin to recognize my farm.

That is the source of my sorrow; only three of the people, and those closest to me, turned against me. Wife, Father-in-law, Mother-in-law. I still get letters from others i befriended saying how they miss me and that they will always be my friend. I cry when I think of all the good Filipino friends I have that I am reluctant to visit because of the problems created by a vindictive ex-wife.

I said it before and I will say it again; I shall return. To the Philippines, to Leyte; and to Hindang. The honerable Hindang Mayor Jun Cabal has even offered me his house should I want to return.

There is an old saying in America "He who laughs last, laughs best".

After they sell my chickens, my farm, the lot I bought my ex-wife to retire on after my death they will not be able to afford the electricty for the Fridge, the cable TV, Diesel for my cars, etc. When that day arrives my attorneys are simply waiting to finish the job of putting them back on the street they came from. Soon I will hear that my ex-wife is selling the gold and diamonds I gave her to put rice on the table.

In my case money is eiser to come by than the friends i no miss so much. Fact is I miss my monkey more than I miss my ex-wife; she at least loved me unconditionally.

They said life begins at 40 but I don't think so, at any age, anybody can still have a bright future as far as raring a so-called "family" is concerned, you know, somebody to love and somebody who cares and loves you unconditionally. Sangkay Extremes is right, move on, look for another pinay as for me, the sweetest thing that will ever happen to any man, is to have a pinay as a WIFE. If you are looking for a farm lot, I have an un-attended lot that I will offer you free of rental for the meantime that you will be looking for one to be called your own. The only reason why this is not attended to because of my nature of work and the distance which is 9 kms. from the town proper and during rainy season only a 4-W drive car can tackle the terrain and some habal2s. Anyway, that's good enough as a temporary haven for your C. Nesmith Sweater, Miner's Blue and other new line of seed fowls that you might bring in. Please PM me for a more serious discussion on this.

The photo is a perfect example of what the breed should look like. I am happy you got that chicken. It took me 3 months of correspondence and phone calls to talk the ledgendary breeder Frank Harvey, now 88 years old, to sell me a pair. I know of no other farm in the Philippines that has that line. I hope you also got a hen.

The Gleeson Whitehackle is the oldest bloodline in the USA that still exists in its original state; it was imported from Ireland in the very early 1800's. At that time it was simply unbeatable. As you may also know the hatch line resulted from a Brownred/Whitehackle cross.

I still think that you should visit the farm one more time to see if that perfect Blue Miner is still there. He is the only Blue Miner there with light red/brown color with a lot of white and would be around a year old now, maybe 18 months.

He is a PERFECT example of the original LLoyd Miner's, the famous line the breed originated from. If it is there and you buy it I will pay you back the money just to assure someone has a pair to continue the Original bloodline in the Philippines. Try to get a hen also if you don't already have one. It took 4 years to get that throwback to the original line and there was only one.

continue ugrading and improving his stocks. basta atoa lang all for the enjoyment of

boles thinking...their precious lines would not be enjoyed by the pinoy breeders

look at our opening salvo stag derby....64 entries and the bulk of this are coming from

2. need to EARN TWO (2) POINTS in the elimination round to qualify for the semis
and FOUR POINTS in the semi-final round to enter the FINALS;

3. accepted weights 1.7kg to 2.2kg. GOOD WEIGHT is 35 grams or less than the
submitted weight. BAD WEIGHT is 40 grams or more. CHANGE STAG is 60
grams or more;

4. BAD WEIGHT PENALTY is P5,000.00 and P10,000.00 for CHANGE STAG. MUST BE
PAID before gaffing;

5. ENTRY FEE is P15,000.00 and MUST BE PAID UPON SUBMISSION OF WEIGHT.

Thank you also for the presence of Mr. Fred Yulo and Mr. Rene Chua who is very very
patient with us during the whole day. from screening and legbanding until the derby
time. Without you giving us strenth and moral support, we would have been at a loss.
These 2 guys have the endurance of a red bull. Wala ta biyae until mahoman jud ang
derby.

Winnie Codilla, thanks very much for supporting (much much more than what we
expected) with your entries and also for the big held in squaring-off the center bets.
bawi na lang sa Cebu Win. lady luck was not on our side.

2. To Cebu participants, Rosco Noel, who by the way showed 2 very good Gold stags
to Tatay Lope Dorado (orig idol namo bai ed) for his 3 entries. To Mr. Lito Tiu of
Sta Fe Sports Complex (incoming evgba member), Mr. Roy M. Segador of Cabalian.
So. Leyte (tomoy2X ning doha), sa Biliran participants...mr. NO FEAR, bai Benc (2
pointer) my friend Shane Leonard (2 pointer) and Mr. Raffy Martinez (showed very
impressive stags as well).

3. To Ormoc City participants, bai bernie, bai edwin, bai gino, bai ramon, doc joey....
kinsa pa ba ha ???? pardon me for the names i forgot to mention...of course bai
mark and doc sonny.

Next year promises to be a better elims in terms of participants and a more cohesive
evgba machine.

Please take my advice about that brownish red white spangled pure Blue Miner; if you get you hands on that chicken you will have years of winning ahead. My Blue Miner line had 15 wins of 17 fights at the time I left Leyte. As you probably know Blue Miners started showing up at the WSD January of 2007, I recall there were 3 entered.
