EVGBA TIMETABLE FOR 2008(CONSOLIDATED):
1. WING BANDING OF STAGS FOR 2008 STAG FEST
- Date: March 1 - April 15, 2008
- There will be again 5 clusters Samar, Biliran, Tacloban, Ormoc (and the neighboring towns), Southern Leyte
- Stag registry forms = no problem we still have enough
- Flyers = Doc Joey will produce the same for the said event
- Volunteers = we are seeking equally dedicated members to join the original banding team
- FOR THE INFORMATION OF ALL MEMBERS WHO WANT THEIR COCKERELS TO BE BANDED BY EVGBA FOR THE 2008 STAG FEST. a 50% of the main stag derby pot money down payment is going to be imposed for those who did not participate in 2007 stag fest. This is to preclude the same situation during the last year that a member had his cockerels banded but did not participate in any of the two(2) stag derbies held WASTING time and effort of the banding team in going to his farm and of course the cost of the wing bands. Please be guided accordingly.
- Doc Joey Cortes is requesting another type of wing band and applicator to make it more tamper-free. Doc Sonny Alfaro will look into this.
- Deadline for the acquisition of wing bands is February = Responsible persons Doc Sonny Alfaro and Cholo Franco

2. SPONSORS
- there will be no exclusive sponsors this time due to the line of business that a corresponding sponsor is giving us. In this case, we will have more flexibility.

Mindanao Assns - Feb. 16, 2008 - Zamboanga

Each local member association will send two (2) of their best qualified working committee members with a proven track of integrity, perseverance, experience related to banding and screening, and must be flexible. Participants must have the following qualifications:
• no more than 55 years of age;
• high school graduate;
• 1 year banding and screening experience;
• very mobile and in excellent health condition.

It is a must that the Assn. President or his duly authorized representative, accompany the participants. They should arrive at the venue a day before the scheduled activity. The expenses of all participants (3 each assn.) will be shouldered by NFGB.

b) All expenses related to working committee representatives assigned to observe and monitor local association eliminations and semis, will be charged to the local host association promoting the event starting 2008.

NOTE: For the above, we are sending Doc Joey Cortes and bai Mark Ferry to be accompanied by either bai Cholo or Doc Sonny Alfaro

12. 2008 PRESIDENTS' CUP DERBY = A 5-Stag or Bull stag or Cock Derby will be held in the Araneta Coliseum on the 1st Week of December 2008. All the other details will be announced later. Each member association IS REQUIRED to field a minimum of 2 entries. Guys please take note.

- There will be again 5 clusters Samar, Biliran, Tacloban, Ormoc (and the neighboring towns), Southern Leyte

- Flyers = Doc Joey will produce the same for the said event

Depende yan sa iyo kung plano mo lang sasali sa main 4-stag or sa 3-stag. Considering mga cockerels pa sila during the banding at depende sa health condition ng mga cockerels mo hanggang maging stags, it's safe to say, mas maganda kung makapagband ka ng more than the required syempre the more, the better for your selection. Puwede namang bumili ng cockerels sa iba then pabandingan mo, pero iba siyempre ang sariling producto ano? may dagdag ng sense of fulfillment sa breeding natin. 20 HEADS nga pala ang free per member in excess of that, ay 10 pesos per cockerel na ang charge. Hindi ako familiar sa geography ng Samar pero all you have to do is to coordinate as what Sangkay Tarantula said. Coordinate with Doc Baena if you have his number or Sangkay Tarantula or Bai Cholo para masama sa list of farm or backyard to visit ang manokan mo. In conclusion, walang minimum number of cockerels for you to qualify for the banding team to go to your place, all you have to do is coordinate.

first. since, there are so many backyard breeders here in ormoc cluster wanting to

set a date and a place where the comm. will hold a 1 day banding provided the

breeders bring their cockerels to the designated area. this way, the comm. and the

evgba save on time and money (travel, fuel, food, etc.) and at the same time get to

RE EVGBA COCKEREL BANDING. last year we ordered 3,000 pcs of wingbands for our

stag wars ( 3 stag and 4 stag derby). i thought we are going to run short of wingbands

as there are members who got lucky in their breeding that they got a sizeable no. of

males in their dec. and jan. born batches. other members had their late jan. born

cockerels banded hoping that if they dont make it in our stag wars, they would for sure

be ready and full feathered during our bullstag derby.

Today, i just ordered 4,000 pcs of wingbands. our manila supplier told me " aba pare,

lumalakas yata asosasyon nyo !" i said, thank you pre, maraming wait and see last year

kasi ang "nka-see" how fair our stag derbies are. ngayon cla pa nangungulit, bai cholo,

nos-a man nyo banding ? pwede pa-ona ??

During the bakbakan eliminations, we handed out 3 plaques of appreciation (courtesy of

of excellence gamefowl specialists) to doc joey, haydol mark, and bai bernie (bgt).

- NATIONAL BULL STAG DERBY: ACCEPTED WEIGHTS: 1.800 TO 2.300 KGS., LOCAL ELIMINATION DATE IN ORMOC CITY will be presented by Doc Sonny Alfaro to the NFGB for approval that instead of April 29, May 2 or 3, 2008, WILL BE HELD AT THE SAME TIME WITH THE EVGBA 5-CK ANNIVERSARY DERBY ON APRIL 25 - 26. REASON = IF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ENTRIES CAN NOT REACH 20, then the interested member-participant/s can go to Cebu for the 4- Bull stag elimination round on April 29, May 2 or 3, 2008
- NATIONAL BULL STAG DERBY FORMAT = 4 - 4 ( 4 BULL STAGS ON THE ELIMINATION ROUND LOCALLY AND 4 BULL STAGS ON THE FINAL ROUND AT THE ARANETA COLISEUM)
- DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES: CHAMPION 2,500,000.00 PHP, POT MONEY 15,000.00 PHP, MIN. BET 5,500.00 PHP in the National Level but as per the LOCAL ASSOCIATION STANDARD during the local elimination round can be 1,100.00, 2,200.00 PHP whatever is the registered minimum bet.

Working Committee:
a) Seminar and Certification Program for all working committee members
to be scheduled as follows:
Luzon Assns. - Feb. 2, 2008 - Clark
Visayas Assns. - Feb. 9, 2008 - Bohol
Mindanao Assns - Feb. 16, 2008 - Zamboanga

Each local member association will send two (2) of their best qualified working committee members with a proven track of integrity, perseverance, experience related to banding and screening, and must be flexible. Participants must have the following qualifications:
• no more than 55 years of age;
• high school graduate;
• 1 year banding and screening experience;
• very mobile and in excellent health condition.

It is a must that the Assn. President or his duly authorized representative, accompany the participants. They should arrive at the venue a day before the scheduled activity. The expenses of all participants (3 each assn.) will be shouldered by NFGB.

b) All expenses related to working committee representatives assigned to observe and monitor local association eliminations and semis, will be charged to the local host association promoting the event starting 2008.

NOTE: For the above, we are sending Doc Joey Cortes and bai Mark Ferry to be accompanied by either bai Cholo or Doc Sonny Alfaro = LEAVING TOMORROW for Tagbilaran City via Cebu

12. 2008 PRESIDENTS' CUP DERBY = A 5-Stag or Bull stag or Cock Derby will be held in the Araneta Coliseum on the 1st Week of December 2008. All the other details will be announced later. Each member association IS REQUIRED to field a minimum of 2 entries. Guys please take note.

Sorry Guys, HOPEFULLY, we will get a better break the next time around. Thanks for all the support. Will post the corresponding updated shares later. GO GO GO GO EVGBA pa rin and we hope for their safe travel to Tagbilaran and back to Ormoc City. The blow-by-blow of bai Cholo will come later:)

Your words are very good morale booster. That's why we are always here inspite of the so many ups and downs of this sport:). Ang resulta pala sa kang bai Ramon ug bai Mark combined, text ni bai Mark, International bai! D - L - W hex3 anyway, pagdating nila sa Tagbilaran kanina at sa hotel na, text kaagad si bai Cholo, bai dia na mi sa hotel, WOWOWEE our driver is no other than Bapa, the owner of the Bohol Tropics Hotel by the way and the President of the Bohol Cockers Club(not sure if that's the correct name of the association, also a member association of NFGB). Orientation kaninang 6PM then dinner at baka ngayon ay nakikinig na ng Jazz band sa restobar ng hotel overlooking the Tagbilaran City Port(I was there with my family few months back for a lunch at Loboc River floating restaurant and a trip to Chocolate Hills, a very worthy trip). OK the next venture is the Maasin 3-CK Derby on the 15th. Good Luck all EVGBAn entries.

ARE CANCELLED. since yesterday pa diay ni kai dagko daw ang balod. dili makaya

sa mga pasahero. heard yesterday that the weesam fastcraft for ormoc bogged down

at the middle of the trip. hapit na ra ba mongitngit, ang mga pasahaero gipangkolbaan

ga jud. pagbalik andar sa makina, balik pod ang weesam sa cebu.


am here at netopia internet cafe at SM Cebu while bai mark and doc j. are watching

the latest movie of stallone, RAMBO. hehe relax2X sa mga boyz after a very long and

fulfilling seminar/training for the working comm (banding team) for this coming

wingbanding season (definitely starts april 1) of nfgb. am very happy and very

pleased to announce also to EVGBA that our boyz did an excellent job at the seminar.

c pres. ricoy p. mismo and mayor jess nalupta nfgb-vp for luzon told me evgba did

send their best and brightest to the seminar accompanied of course by the pogi-est,

evgba officer, bwehehe (walai mokontra ha). bitaw, bilib jud kaayo cla sa atoang mga

boyz, from the lectures, to the situation solving and recommendations, nfgb officers

have seen na dili lang diay ta mga sabaan, mai iboboga man sab diay. A BIG ROUND

OF APPLAUSE TO DOC JOEY AND BAI MARK.

OKIDOKI, for the derby updates. beforehand, i would like to say SORRY to our KURAM-
BOS we were not able to fight in the finals. the truth of the matter is, the warriors are
all ready, the boyz are all ready, but circumstances did not favor us. have to make a
very hard decision, but after reading the posts of some of our kurambos members,
i was really relieved and happy that its not all about money. i have a commitment to
the kurambos team and also a commitment to the evgba and nfgb to attend and escort
our boyz to the training field. had we gotten a perfect 3, i would have to make another
hard decision to request doc joey to remain and focus on our warriors for the finals. i
would just request nfgb presi if it is possible for doc joey to attend na lang the training
in zamboanga a week from now.
if we continue with our fight to the finals with 2 wins, and knowing doc j., am pretty sure
he cannot stay focus during the seminar as he will worry about our warriors back home.
and finally, what am fearing most happened. fast crafts getting cancelled. trips back to
ormoc are connecting trips and just 1 delay or cancellation of a single trip means.....
paktay ta ani. who will see to our warriors during the finals, etc, etc, etc. i thought i
the right decision. and very happy that my decision is supported by our kurambos
members.

FIGHT NO. 1 - our red yellow legged bandilaan newton wade sweater (june fiesta derby
winner) went up against mke-2 lipa city of mario espinosa's hatch.
after the usual heating came the larga na. kolba na sab my heart. btw,
c cong. dodong codilla, made me sit beside him during the heating and
jokingly asked questions about our warriors. dawat cya sa 25k deperen-
cya homan pa masyada pa ug 20k. ingon cya tonga mi. ako tobag dako
kaayo na NGEEEE.

important meeting because doc joey and bai mark will make their iteneraries based on

the members who wants to have their cockerels banded. information and communication

are the 2 most important points to remember. please contact your cluster leaders so that

they can prepare the routes our banding team will take.



we have ordered 4,000 wing bands. a thousand more than last year's. i hope we can

get the help of our sponsors to assist us with our transportation needs. if we can divide

our banding team into two (2) teams, the better. they can cover more areas in shorter

we are also looking for volunteer members who can help the banding team. we need

at least 2 each of screeners, banders, and recorders. cluster leaders, may i take this

A few days ago, a person was recharging his cell phone at home. Just at that time a call came in and he answered it with the instrument still connected to the outlet. Hello EVGBAns my team were in mourn for the loss of our four feathered warriors they are not lucky to live longer with us, they will be burried to our small gamefarm where they will be honoured and will be remembered of how they fight and died with us. I am so sorry to disappoint anybody for our loss.
We will carry on and move forward to prepare another feathered warriors for another event the 3 Bullstag Derby this coming 08 March at Ormoc City hosted by our very own EVGBA.

Re: Insurance pasensya na nakalimutan ko palang ilagay yun insurance ni Tina na Caritas Health Shield hindi nila po covered ang tatlong Doctor add on kc maliit lang ang bayad nila kaya po medyo nagkaroon po ako ng kunti problema. Yung balance ko sa hospital medyo ok po para akong nabunutan ng tinik tumawag na kasi erpat ko na before the weekend mabayaran namin yun, ngayon ang add on nalang ng doctors ang pinakaproblema namin. UTERUS, CERVIX, FALLOPIAN TUBE AND LEFT OVARY


GROSS DESCRIPTION:

Specimen consists of a previously opened uterus with left adnexa. The cervix measures 3.0 x 3.0 x 2.5cm. The ectocervix is gray tan and smooth. The body measures 7.0 x 7.0 x 4.0 cm. The external surface is pink tan with fibrous adhesion at the posterior wall. The myometrium measures 2.0 cm. with a 0.1cm. endometrial lining. A 1.0 cm. endometrial polyp is noted. The left fallopian tube measures 3.0 x 0.5 cm. The left ovary is cystic and previously opened measuring 6.0 x 5.0 x 1.5 cm. It has a leathery inner surface.

A - cervix
B - endomyometrium
C - polyp
D - left fallopian tube and ovary

MICROSCOPIC:
Sections of the cervix showed dense lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate in the storma. The endometrial polyp shows variszed glands with clusters of thick-walled blood vessels supported by a fibrous stroma. The endometriul shows tubular glands regularly distributed in a compact stroma. The left ovary shows a cyst partly lined by endometrial epithelium and stroma with focal aggregates of hemosiderophages in the wall. The left fallopian tube shows no significant pathologic findings.

Well done bai Cholo, today's meeting is one of the most populated meetings in EVGBA history with representatives from 4 different suppliers around. We are very pleased to have DOC ED BAENA B.O.D for Samar who came all the way from Northern Samar and Mr. RAFFY MARTINEZ B.O.D for Biliran from Naval just to attend the meeting. With all the guys from distant places around, sobra pa sa ganado ang mga members from the Ormoc area. Other attendees who are still with a considerable distance from Ormoc City are our Most Eligible bachelor Sangkay Patrick, BOD for Tacloban, bai Larry Villareal, Hilongos, Bai Earl Nunez from Babay together with a new member Erwin Jusayn together with another companion from Baybay, equally cooperative were our two wingbanding coordinators from Isabel, Leyte Dodo Abordo and Dexter(Titing) Evangelista.

Few minutes to 9:00 AM, yours truly arrived at the meeting place and seeing nobody yet was around, ringed up the VP who parang kidlat, sulpot kaagad.

Minutes: (While Doc Sonny is not available, me or the d VP can take over as secretary).

1. Yours truly opened the meeting explaining the criteria that the banding team will look into during the banding

2. Doc Joey explained to the area coordinators what are their duties and responsibilities during the banding day. This followed by the explanation of the criteria, what's the specific period that only cockerels with 4 - 4 will be accepted, 4 - 3 and 3 - 3. This was ably backed-up by bai Cholo and bai Mark

3. Finally, the draw by lot was done and here is the order of banding schedule which will fall on the weekends from MARCH 1 to APRIL 15.

- Baybay to Southern Leyte
- Samar
- Ormoc City and the neighboring towns
- Tacloban City and the neighboring towns
- Biliran Province

4. Requested by Doc Baena and bai Raffy Martinez, the banding team will do the banding on their area ahead of the schedule on a case-to-case basis, EXAMPLE: There will be an expected tropical depression or similar nature's way that will affect the road condition. Request granted.

5. SUPPLIERS' PORTION: All the four suppliers Thunderbird, Purina, Excellence and Powerbullet through their reps, offered support in terms of transportation, T- shirts for the banding team, etc.

6. Bai Raffy Martinez was asking for EVGBA Stag Derby Rules which Doc Joey promised to send to all the areas.
7. 3 - Bullstag Derby on March 8 - Doc Joey and bai Mark Ferry made it abundantly clear that no further issues in this regard that is: everything is accounted for

8. Bullstag and cock derbies = All the suppliers made commitments to support the 3 - bullstag and the anniversary 5 - cock derbies and they were asking for EVGBA's year-round schedules of activities which we promised to provide by email.

But as requested by Doc Baena and bai Raffy Martinez, the banding team will do the banding on their area ahead of the schedule on a case-to-case basis, EXAMPLE: There will be an expected tropical depression or similar nature's way that will affect the road condition. - FOR THE INFORMATION OF ALL MEMBERS WHO WANT THEIR COCKERELS TO BE BANDED BY EVGBA FOR THE 2008 STAG FEST. a 50% of the main stag derby pot money down payment is going to be imposed for those who did not participate in 2007 stag fest. This is to preclude the same situation during the last year that a member had his cockerels banded but did not participate in any of the two(2) stag derbies held WASTING time and effort of the banding team in going to his farm and of course the cost of the wing bands. Please be guided accordingly.
- Doc Joey Cortes is requesting another type of wing band and applicator to make it more tamper-free. Doc Sonny Alfaro will look into this.

PLEDGED ENTRIES FOR THE 2008 EVGBA 3-Bullstag Derby MARCH 8, 2008, 3,300 php pot money, WIN-AS-MUCH-AS 120,000.00 php or more, minimum bet 1, 100 php, maximum EVEN bet 11,000.00 php. start banding cockerels. in the afternoon, they will proceed to biliran to band the

cockerels of bai shane and bai benc.

next day, sunday, they will shoot to isabel and band the cockerels of el presi and other

members and would be members in that area.
