Wheew way tug gikan sa Tanauan buntag na nahuman. Target unta nako mosakay sa 8:30AM for Cebu pero not possible so, taas pa ang oras paabot kay 1:30PM pa ang next trip. Ngita usa internet cafe palabay sa oras. That was a very sumptuous dinner hosted by the Univet through Agus Restaurant. Plus the 2 baby lechon donated by the supportive Johnny Lim. All the out of town people like me, were checked in at Alejandro Hotel in the heart of Tacloban City. Then 5 AM yesterday, went straight to TSRA to prepare the screening materials and tools. Our screener Mr. Rebel were very much praised by the people for his effort to insure only legitimate stag can be fielded in that derby. So around 30 + or - entries were rejected and finally only 50 entries made it to the screening regimen. I myself had 3 stag rejected.So, while waiting for the matching nakahackfight ta and the 1st fight belonged to urs truly. Sus, nauna ang malas nabun-an inyo migo ug tungod kay walay premyo involved, gidak-an nako pusta hu hu hu ibanan puhunan.
The stag derby itself was a BIG BIG SUCESS bisan kinsay pasultihon and thanks kanatong tanan nga responsible for the success. This is an exibit of unity among our group.
Nagduka naman ko ron sa computer dili gyud nako mapost in details wait for bai Cholo. Basta the first champion as far as I remember was the Tanauan......Derby.... entry of Bonet Perez. Na mapiyong gyud ako mata out muna ako baaabye...yo

Dia na ko Cebu continue ta sa hisgot2 sa ato stag derby. Came the entry of bai Izlo grabe nga mga stag dili naman katuohan nga stag sa mga dragging grabe ka power mga nokis 2 ka entry champion ang usa, ang usa insurance kini finance nila ni bai Scythe_G and his supprtive wife Tina ug bai Tarantula. Our very important guest nga si Emoy Gorgonia miabot and in the middle of the derby, gihimo ang atong induction of the 1st set of officers of the Eastern Visayas Gamecock Breeders Association. Before this diay, naa tay interview conducted by him ug ishow siguro ni sa tukaan next week? Ako si bai Cholo ug 2 ka handlers sa Ormoc inyong makit-an sa TV ehehemm kulba2 ra ba kaajo during the interview:
NOTES: 1. Glad to meet the members in the Tacloban, Burauen and Carigara areas with special mention to Atty. Trimor. All the while, I thought sa internet lang nato mahimamat ni siya unya now you see him now you don't? Then came the coctail party hosted by the Univet and in the middle of the affair surfaced this genius looking guy. Very approachable diay in person, Atty. I salute you for that very supportive gesture, the kind of feature of a guy we need in this association.

2. I received texts from bai Monching wishing us success for everything.Thanks bai.....

3. Pagpadulong nako sa Agus restaurant for the cocktail party, nasaag ko gamay nasaylo na mi then came the call of bai BenC informing me he was in his residence in Biliran during the call. I informed him about my losing my way to Agus. So, mihatag siya'g direction all the way from making a U turn back to the Agus direction until we found the place. Misulod na ko ug ang ako entourage(he he he) sa restaurant, shake....shake....shake hands then came this very tall and a movie star- built guy...by the smile I predicted already he was BenC. Gidrama ra diay ko nga tua siya sa Biliran sa pagtawag niya, diha na diay siya sa sulod sa restaurant with his children and his lovely wife.

4. To the very lovely pair of bai Scythe_G and wife Tina = all the way gyud ang inyo duet rendition during the intermiission very nice. Keep it up......

5. So continue ang mga chicken talks while waiting for some more guests, Jun Juanico called up telling me they just arrived from Naval. I told him to come to Agus once the stag fighters will be well rested. So, miabot gyud and another surprise, bai Naval came with the group.

6. So, 3 gyud ka members/officers of our EVGBA nga miuli para sa stag derby nato. Bai Izlo, Bai BenC ug Bai Naval.

7. DERBY ENTRY SCORES/PERFORMANCE - obviously the best peformer was bai Izlo's entry. Of course sangkay Bonet's entry also pero wala ko kakita kay didto ra ko sa ako cockhouse during the fights, nahibaw-an na lang nako nga 1st champion ang iya entry. All the rest made good in their first fights with the exception of bai Cholo kay sobra pa sa 1st fights, 2 gyud ka entry nga hapit machampion insurance gyud nuon, the rest maayo ug performance sa 1st fight Doc Sonny, Atty. Trimor, bai Monching ang ako ra gyung 2 ka entry nga mora ug miduyog sa ako conflict sa original humot kay wala gyud nako paubana bisan unsaon pamugos mouban kay ingon ko tingali makamalas:lol: sus malas man gihap nyahaaaah...wala gyuy nakalusot tanan ang 2nd fight ra sa usa ka entry unya ang akong 7th stag nga didto maapil sa amo kurambos ni Charlie Chong pang 3rd stag ang ako sa entry maoy nakapachampion sa Naval Gallera entry # 2. Sus puwerteng lipata nako ani nga entry kay gadahom ko nga ang ibutang sa board sulod sa arena EX as per fight schedule sheet nga akong nakit-an. Sus wala ko kahibalo Naval diay ang didto sa sulod so wala lang ko kabantay sa 1st fight kon diin ko kapusta basta ang 2nd fight didto gyud ko sa pikas kay known entry sa Ormoc to pildi inyo migo kay didto man ko pusta sa pikas wala man ko kahibalo nga ang kontra mao diay tong akong gipotan ug 1/3 kay ang akong manok maoy pang ika 3. Hu hu hu pildi ko pero naka 2 puntos na amo entry. Buang lagi pilaw ug hubog2 ubanon makayabag the only thing nga nakapamaintain sa akong mata nga dili gyud mapislok hangtod magbuntag, kadto ra gyung IMPORTED LIPOVITAN nga gipadala nila Bai Naval ug Bai Tony kini gihandcarry gyud ni bai Naval, TO YOU GUYS!!! daghan kaayong salamat kay kami ni bai Cholo wala gyud pilawa the whole night hangtud nagbuntag.

Having a clean-up derby is not a problem at all especially 2-stag ra man, I will go also for that motion but maybe the waray2 section can make the strategy, I mean the initiative to hold the said event. We, as a group will likewise support whatever.....

of the evgba promoted 3-stag derby including the
cocktails at agus restaurant (complete with impromp

b. to all the breeders (entrants) who participated in
our derby. without your support all our efforts

whose stags were rejected (obay2X ra ba jud ni
sila apil na dinhi ang sa mga officers and directors)
thanks for bringing in your stags, we know better

c. to the staff of evgba director bonette perez at the
Tanuan Sports and Recreation Center, our hats off
to you also guys. you were with us from start
(screening) to finish (9am the next day).

d. to our debonaire screener, mr. raul "rebel" ebeo,
he arrived a day before the derby. a million thanks
for the eagle eyes, swift and firm decisions in
accepting and rejecting stags. walai pasaylo, walai
migo2X, walai officer2X (4 stags of mine were re-
jected, as well as el presi's stags) perteng striktoha
pero fair sab sa tanan. without you this stag derby
would not be a success.

e. to our honored guest, mr. emoy gorgonia. medyo
gikolbaan mi kadali kai nabiyaan mana siya sa
eroplano the day he was supposed to be with us
coz of heavy rains and traffic in m.m. daghan ra ba
ug nag-atang niya sa tanuan kai tingali daw borit
ra ning amo na mo-abot siya para pag-cover sa osa
ka smalltime 3 stag derby ug pag induct sa mga
walai jewels na officers (gwapings lang). but,
surprise of all surprises, he arrived in the afternoon
on derby day and quickly moved on to business
of taking shots of TSARC, interviewing, well kinsa pa,
ang 2 kilabot ng kolehiyala, nyahahaha, noong alaw.
we were all proud during the induction which was
done at the center of the ruweda, with thousands
of cocking fans cheering. maginoong-maginoo po si
emoy, very very cowboy (didto mi kaon ug panihapon
sa barbecuehan sa kilid sa bolangan). he went
around also greeting entrants. yan si emoy !
our heartfelt gratitude for adding glamour , prestige,
and respect to our asso. (evgba) and to our derby.

f. and last but not the least, to our balikbayan friends,
izlo (coming all the from beaverton, usa) , benc (new
york, usa), and naval (florida, usa). ang last 2 na
ako gi-mention, mahilig ni ug sorpresa ! wala mi
pahibalo-a, naa na diay sila abot. thanks for your
support and most importantly your presence. mao
nai nakahatag namo tanan ug dakong encourage-
ment.

g. i would like to make special mention of mr. shane
leonard and lovely wife, who were with us from
the cocktails up to the end of the derby. our
sincere thanks also for helping with the addt'l
two (2) stags which we badly needed to complete
the matching of entrants. i know you had a terrible
start but dont worry we'll get them stags real ready
and kicking next time.

and fix so many requests. i have to attend to my two
entries make sure they dont get over their pointing.
wala na jud koi time para pag tan-aw ug pag analyze
sa mga fights. would you believe, i brought with me
a videocam and an advantix camera complete with
extra batteries and films but NOT A SINGLE SHOT
i was able to make, betchabygollywow !!!

UG PACENCIYA sab sa akong mga kaoban officers
wala na ko ka pananghid pag-ona ug uli. 4am i received
a call from the dozer mechanic from cebu our office
requested. he told me the early a.m. boat arrived
and all passengers had gone down already. tabang
mga langit, i forgot all about him, and i am suppose to
meet him and take him to the shop for an emergency
work on our bulldozer being rented by PNOC. i have
to drive in a hurry coz he is new in the city and know
nobody. naputi na intawn eyahang mga mata pag-abot
nako. pag-abot nako sa pier, ngotana ciya, diin man
diay ka sir ? ngeeee, yaw na pangotana, hehe. wala
na ko kakita sa akoa last fight da, daog ra ba.

i received from ramon conopio. one of the operators
of nadongholan cockpit and also an entrant in our
3 stag derby. he said that he was really very impressed
with how we screened the stags that participated in
the derby. stags that were fought in the derby were
really legitimate stags. he was requesting me and
he was also hoping that we could do the same at the
nadongholan cockpit in ormoc city. i told him thank you
very much and would extend his request to the officers,
and to the board of directors of the asso.

mga abais, mga padis, these fights inspite of my
groginess, i still remember coz of their significant win.

1st champion. this is the fight between 2 evgba board
of directors, izlo and bonette perez. both are fighting
red stags. bonette going for the championship and
izlo gunning for his 2nd win and a role of spoiler.
bai izlo is llamado even if the opponent is the owner
of the cockpit. paying patrons have seen how his other
entry made mincemeat of his opponents' stags for 2
wins and this entry gunning for his 4th straight win.
odds were 7-10 izlo's favor. after the initial heating,
personally handled by bai izlo, the stags were released
and began sizing each other up. morag ma gowang
mga abais dili jud magpataka ug dasmag. hinay2X duol
siging pang hagit. bai izlo stag made the 1st attack,
but cleverly evaded by bonette's stag. bai izlo's stag
again made an airial attack and both met on top but
i thought bonette's stag made a connection. after some
give and take connects bet. the 2 stags on the ground,
again i thought that the stag of bonette is better in
timing his shots. bai izlo's stag is now faltering but
still initiating the attack. bonette's stag making salto
and timed connections, until bonette's handler saw that
the eyelids of izlo's stag began winking , and in his
excitement went inside the center of the ruweda and
made the resounding ono, dos, tres carreo !!! congrats
padi bonette for the deserving win. congrats evgba
also for the 2 valiant stags of our directors.

We had a great time at the derby on Saturday. I am already looking forward to next year. It was to good to get to put some faces with names and also to see some of the guys that I have not seen in awhile. It was worth all the effort we put into getting our stags to Tacloban......what a trip!!! We over came flood waters in the conditioning area in Manila early Friday morning that made us really late getting to the airport for the 6am flight....but we made it!!! Anyway, no excuses here.....we think stags performed well but just did not get the breaks we needed....you know lady luck is not with you when your stag gets hit in the Kili after catching a running stag...hehehe. As my late grandfather would say" In just about every fight son.....there is a loser....don't sweat it". I think the fight of the night goes to Naval Cockers.....the drag fight they lost with only 2 seconds left on the clock. It is good to see 2 stags go at it for 10 minutes, but they did redeam there self with their second entry as Champion. I think every fight was very well matched and all the stags were very well screened...I did not hear anyone complaining about stags being older. That is good for the EVGBA's reputation....it will make the next stag derby sucessful also. More Power EVGBA. See you all next time.

Maayong buntag sa tanan!

After more than a month of training stags, it's nice to be back in san juan spending two days of sleep and enjoying the company of my wife and kids. Hoo hooh!

I would like to give thanks to all the officers and members of EVGBA and to all those who, in one way or another, participated in the very successful conduct of EVGBA's First 3-Stag Derby. There will be more derbies to come. Just visit this site more often for future announcements.

It was nice knowing our balikbayan friends, Bai Izlo, BenC, Naval and also Johnny Lim, Peter Zabala, our screener "Rebel", Shane, the tandem of Ryan and Lyrea and the rest whom I can't recall their names kay duko-duko naman ko niadtong sunday early morning.

Nakacreate na ko ug photobucket album nako tua nay 3 ka pictures 1 kang bai RB ug Bebot Monsanto naglarga sa SK derby ug 2 sa ako kumander-n-chief humot orig. Unsaon man pag-attach sa usa ka picture. What I did, ako gisave-as a certain file name sa my documents. Pero pag-open nako sa my documents ang file name ra mao tua pero ang picture wala. Mayroon na ngang laman ang photobucket album ko siguro mga 16 na yon imagine from Tanauan then to SK Derby plus some pics of my orig humot at bunsong babae. Ang problema kung isave ko na sa isang folder or destination example, my documents, ma-isave ko kunwari pero pagpunta ko sa destination folder na iyan, ang file name lang na ibinigay kong file name ang makikita pero empty yon.Or is there a way to attach a certain file in the photobucket album in an email or a sabong.net post directly without saving that particular file first in the PC?Ang mangyayari kasi example iattach mo ang pic na iyan sa email, di ba ibrowse mo muna kung saan ang location sa pic na yan bago mo ma-attach, kaso lang kung hindi ko isave sa PC hindi makikita ang pic na nasa photobucket album pagbrowse?Thanks

Sir, can you view the photos you've uploaded in ur photobucket album? You have to have the original file of the pic in your pc before you can upload it in ur album then you can delete the file after you have successfully uploaded it in your photobucket album. You can't attach a pic or graphics in your email if the file is not saved in your PC. So if you are using different PC's and want to attach the photos in your photobucket album in your emails I suggest you copy the files first by just selecting the pic in ur album right click the mouse select Save Picture as and save it in your pc and then delete the file after u have attached it in ur mails. But in order for you to insert image or photos in ur posts here in the thread you have to upload the file in ur photobucket album first and copy the Img command and paste it in your post reply.

A.Astorga vs.Mayor M.Mercado,porbida ang away murag mga iring nga nagbugno,good lost ang kang Bernie kay ngaan nga na pilde nag pakita ug abilidad.

So, we have to make an estimate during the next meeting kung pila gyud nga wingband ato-ang i-order.

WE CANNOT USE THE ORDINARY WINGBANDS AVAILABLE IN THE AGRIVETS TO AVOID TAMPERING.

Only your Knight, or rep, will have to do this but all is welcome to do so. RT Seats will be guaranteed a cockhouse and will have a seat at our Round Table dining/meeting on the derby day.

We are planning on limiting our RT Seat again to 30, so once we reach that I will put on the ballot again for the Round Table’s vote.

just had a very fruitful and inspiring meeting today at the chitos
chow. morning till the afternoon, attended by most of the
officers, bod, and would be bod from baybay and mahaplag.

scythe_g and lyrea took the minutes of the meeting, almost all
the agenda concerns were extensively discussed, suggestions
were heard, given, and taken up. the couple will post here what
transpired and what was agreed upon at the meeting.

bai naval, included here was the discussion re seminar on
disease prevention, medication, etc, possible date and venue.

also, am happy to see the wives of the officers present. these
way, they can see and feel that they are a part and also belong
to our association. no hidden agendas here, only for the better-
ment of our sport and a legacy to the coming generation of
breeders.

to our ever supportive president, the officers, the board of
directors present, our guests (possible bod), thank you for
your presence, your invaluable inputs, the great food, the fun,
till our next meeting.

to the other officers/bod who were not able to attend, hope to
see you at our next meeting.

i thought it best if we hold on to our other activities until such
time we get registered with the SEC. as it is, we are like public
utility vehicles running but QUOLORUM.

i hope atty jun trimor can facilitate the movement of our documents. he promised in his text to me to send it to bai ryan

we had during our sponsored stag derby is already with him.
