DO YOU AGREE...
some people say that all the good breeders can become good conditioners. But not all conditioners can become a good breeder.

I think they are completely different. I think you can be a good breeder and not a good conditioner and you can also be a good conditioner and not a good breeder.
Having said that, i also believe that good chickens make the conditioner/feeder look good. So if you breed really good birds and you do your own conditioning, people might think you are an excellent conditioner when you are actually just average.

I agree wholeheartedly. Good cocks make it a lot easier to be a good conditioner.
There is a large element of luck involved in breeding. Two great families crossed together does not guarantee the offspring to be great as well. In breeding, you make a lot of crosses that just don't work. What makes it rewarding is when you do make the right cross.

If you are a good breeder with very good fowls , you can be a good conditioner since you know more about your birds. You can keep conditioning very simple (light workout) if you honestly have quality birds. But there is a division of labor if you don't have the time, you are old, have a group, and you can pay...........
