I'm on an iPad when I click on the magazine I just get a blank page? Is it the iPad or m I doing something wrong?

Yes. It's the IPad. For some reason, Apple does not support Adobe Flash. Adobe Flash runs about 90% of Internet applications including the Library.

Go for Android Tablets! :)
