which strain of gamefowl that is known for power and speed?

one good example is sam caudle's butchers...what will you do to make them win against sweaters in longknife?

    Kogs,

Butcher is a power fowl. To beat the sweaters, which is a speed fowl, you need to infuse brains and a better cutting blood. You'd need a broodhen of 1/2 lemon, 1/2 yellow legged hatch.

Velcros :Red; Black; and Blue. Either Pure or cross differnt colors of the Velcros. Or any Velcros crossed with Sodapops; Popeye Muggs; Goode Greys; or the "Old-Time" Blues.

    bloodline that beats the SWEATER!!

this year's valencia ormoc derby, i saw a fight between SONNY lagon and CLAUDE bautista. the former used his BB SWEATER while the latter i suppose used a ZAMBO WHITE. The latter won.

the sweater keeps on coming while the zambo white keeps on making salto and a bit of side stepping.

    BUTCHERS...

thats why they are called such...they have the power and the speed to slice even such elusive enemy..and in long knife...you only need one power hit to kill...its like a machine gun....on top of the hill...

    POWER AND SPEED

For me from our battle crosses, our (RUBBLES)HATCH--LEMON crosses that we've got are our best crosses so far. Even down and badly injured they would not stop fighting, we had few fights already which our roosters had won but just after pecking to win the fights they themselves succombs to there wounds and died in the ring. The only setback is that they come as meduim stationed roosters with this cross but nevertheless a win is a win...MJF

    Butcher cross

I'd cross a good Butcher to light fowl. Good ole Marsh blood from Red Richardson or Oscar Akins could still give a good whallop! Butchers are dominantly Whitehackles which are renowned for their gameness, power and cutting. However they are a step slow(nowadays), are hardly good stationed fowl and have roundy bodies. Given these traits I'd breed them to an outstanding Roundhead (Dan Gray's perhaps) or a good Kelso (Johnnie Jumper) this should somehow improve on the speed and skills. Station and conformation would hopefully be addressed as well!
