Size for one thing. Spanish games are smaller than American games. Where and when it was legal you would also see a different fighting style. Spanish hit to the head and kneck of the opponent whereas most American games where bred to hit to the body where the vital organs are located. Historically speaking of course.

Nice muff rooster GC. I have a question though. Is the muff trait really common among Cuban fowls? Or was this trait just inherited from the English fowls from the past and was kept/bred into some Cuban families? Where the muff trait came from?

    I appreciate any info. Thanks!

    Edwin,
I've seen more "muff" characteristic coming off from the Oriental side esp. the Rampuris.Never seen a Cuban Muff though JB from Bahamas breed some really good Muffs locally called Papujo/Papu.On that particular Grey, the muff blood came from the Brazilian side.

Thanks GC. I'm just curious because my Cuban friends let me have just recently a couple of his baby Cubans that are muffed. Didn't ask him though where the muff trait came from, I just assumed it was already in his family of Cubans.

Thanks again for the added info.
