I'm not too familiar with Ted T. lemon 84. Most guys especially the Negros breeders breeds predominantly the straight comb family or the batchoys. If u specifically like the 84, try to contact Mr. Francis Afable(09172403145) or Mr. Peter Uy. I'm very much satisfied using the Luzon version coming from them. :hippie:

if you are looking for lemon84 go directly to the originator of the lemon84 no other than paeng araneta of bacolod. He is a nice guy and I once got to talk to him over the phone.he can ship you pullets or stags or whatever you want wherever you are.His pullets are 6000 each excluding the shipment or you can bargain with him depending on how you agree.all other breeders that have lemon84 lines in their farm originated from no other than the legend, the originator of the lem84 Mr. Paeng Araneta.I am planning to acquire some pullets from him.In buying from him call him in his cp,make an agreement, send him the money through western union or moneygram, then give him your adress then just wait and your order will come.He is a honest person.Mang Peng kung mabasa mo ito, please bigyan mo ako discount.....more power to your lemon.I have a lemon84 before that won 8 tmes and one draw.his winnings are unscratched.the only time it was wounded was a draw in a hack fite.all other winnings are derbies in quick passion.sad to say it only died of unknown cause, bigla lang nangisay na walang sakit .

from what I understood, Peter Uy bought the original lemon 84 cock from Paeng. Francis Afable share fowls(lemons)with Peter and Paeng. Doc Teddy from what I knew was Paengs vet. in the early years and that was how he got the lemons from Paeng.

Hi. From what i heard, when Mr. Araneta left for the States during the early 80's , Mr.Peter Uy acquired them. Mr. Uy started getting them if im not mistaken, 1974. Even Francis acquired from Mr.Araneta thru Mr. Biboy Enriquez, who by the way financed the entry that won the international derby at that time, that catapulted the lemon 84 to fame.:hippie:

The real mccoys med to low station. Cross with the sweaters should improve the station. Advice is to use the sweaters on the hen side.

windjammer is right both cocks and hens are med to low station when pure...we got some from jga the bc was short compared with the cocks that we bought to be fought...that bc produces medium stationed off-springs when bred to lemon hens & taller breeds.... same goes for the hens (though ours was the guapo line)...though a couple of low stationed fowls would come out once in a while...

thanks for the advice, i will try that after my redfox mclean lemon hackle hatch is finished with her. i need to correct the style of my redfox mclean hatch( he's a billholder). maybe a lemon would correct the problem after that i'll cross her with my sweater dink.

Bred some 1/2 Batia sweater 1/2 84, most are meduim high station as lemon hens were used. But doing 3/4 back to the Sweaters, the station improved a lot. Dinks should do a better job, since they are generally bigger and taller in station than Batia sweaters.

    lemons

For those lemon fanatics i suggest you read an article on the latest Pit Games issue (Al Garcia on the cover) featuring Eddie Boy Ledesma of Bacolod. He has won the NGBA Stagfighter of the year in 2004 and 2005 against other big-time breeders using hulsey lemons and greys as his base bloodline.

If he was able to do it back-to-back that means that this is a mean winning line.

Lemons still dominate the competition even up to this very day.
