    Re: Oriental Grade Sparring videos...

My friend in Manila mated red satsuma cock to YLH .
I see they are good for LK fight after watching sparring video .
And once I saw my friend`s black satsuma cross at pit he showed unique cutting style.
One thing to improve is gameness.

    Re: Oriental Grade Sparring videos...

Uigie, thanks for the supplements. We have plenty of very good Oriental grades already available here, it's just a matter of finding the correct %, feed and conditioning methods.

Masao, if you are interested in acquiring a few fowls, I do sale a few to get some feed money back. But as of now I've slowed down and out of good young ones. Trade would be for those who already have this old cams and don't use it as most are into digitals................................many of this old cams are just gathering dust, and would never be used. They are very cheap in the US and other countries, it's only here where it is very expensive without a market?

regardless of size and weight Masao, what is the best fighting japanese fighting chicken out there?

Wabug, thanks. the black is a throwback or an offshoot coming from the Boles dom

Re: Hello I'm new to this website. what is the best type of ASIL breed with western m

In the Philippines they blow cigarette smoke in the face of the roosters, hehehe. How would you like it if somebody did that to your face, giving you 2nd hand smoke to destroy your lungs.
Ray ATKINSON Asil is small compared to most Asil breed which blends great with Western Game Fowl. I crossed mine to fast birds like the Blacks - Sid Taylords and Brown Reds.
I also have a Sam Gowdy Jap which is quicker than the Asil.
We have a WSC Champion breeder/cocker who blends a little Peruvian Asil to his Western Fowl. I'm told the Peruvians are faster than the Japs.

atkinson blood is good for crossing if your asils are headhunter like most postizas asils you going to have to grade more I would go to asil ring forum were there are more asil breeders with more info on asils in your area

    Are asils worth breeding?

There are two local guys who I learn and have gotten chickens from and one of them is very anti oriental and the other believes in them strongly. I was wondering if the asils are worth the time and trial and error of breeding them. Thanks

    Re: Are asils worth breeding?

Jim Clem from Oregon proved that orientals are a threat to WSC!!! He breeds Black Jap X Brown Reds and I hear he is doing something with JasiL Jap Asil these days...

    Re: Are asils worth breeding?

I also was lost for a while due to other peoples comments but then i started watching. if you want w's instead of whoos and waas. then asil are where its at. cause they ant that fancy but win. ever wonder why a american bird wins 3 he is a brood cock but a asil can win 5 and he is a typical rooster. thats cause they win.

    Re: Are asils worth breeding?

I've become a big fan on Oriental grades. So far I acquired a 1/2 Asil-1/2 Jap cock and a pure Jap stag that I use for breeding.
    I also bought a 1/4 Asil-3/4 Lacy RH bull stag, 1/4 Asil-3/4 Kelso bull stag, 1/2 Asil-1/2 Cowan RH hen and a 3/4 black McRae-1/4 Peruvian pullet.

These birds are smart and are easy to handle. The pullet/hens are great mothers too.
