Most good ones, breeders, have their prices...high of course. I am not saying you can not find lower priced decent breeds, but, you just have to do a lot of search, and most of all TRIAL and ERROR.

    imho,

    bai flip...

if u wanna acquire good quality fowls for cheap price...

    * u gotta be best friends of the owner or breeder of the farm.

    * or even better ur related to the owner or breeder.

    * if all fails....marry the daughter of the owner or the breeder...this should be the easiest way to get his or hers winning lines...

    goodluck....

Moulting season is the best time to shop around for quality seed fowl. I am sure small breeder in Bacolod or Negros will be more willing to sell some of thier winning lines for discount price. Start with pure stags and pullets.

I would like to advice about your problem of over pricing broodhen and broodcock from a quality chicken.

if ever do you know some of your friend has brood stock from imported one.it is better ,you might be able to get from them

because if you go down in popular breeder .they might not able to give you a cheaper price, that you had been looking for.

there are so many small time breeders that had quality chicken from state.

all you can do you will approach to their care taker and you gonna ask on how to buy their chicken in the price that you can afford.
dont approach to their boss and try to wait a right time.

mostly that i have know ,they leave their chicken to his brother or father.

these is a right thing to do for the sake of your satisfaction.

Price doesn't have much to do with the quality of fowl you start with. It's your ability to have the patience to monitor your year to year breeding-in short there are no such gurantees-doesn't mean that just because you went over halfway around the world to buy a $3000 trio m,eans you'll be a WSD figure in the coming years.

Use your gut feel, know what style of fighting you want, go to a backyard breeder and see if his howl fits you taste. Agrre on a price and start the voyage of patience...aint no other foolproof way Sir!!!
