    untold stories of the lemon84

numerous stories has been written on the legend of the lemon 84
but never i heard nor read where did the original lemon 84 died?

did it die in the hand/farm of the originator?

did it really jump from one farm to another for safekeeping in fear
of thieves and bred by the host farm during the safe keeping?

did it really reach luzon and finally failed to return to the hand of
    the originator?

there maybe some cockers that are more knowledgeable on the
real score on the last chapter of the lemon 84 legend can tell us
    their stories . . .

The better ones are in the hands of a Luzon Breeder that he spent millions in acquiring it. Both yellow & greed legged. PM windjammer he knows better even the history details.

I never got to ask Francis A. or Mr. Peter Uy about it. But Francis told me that he saw the original 84 broodcock in 1974 when he went to visit and acquired some lemons from Paeng Araneta. He described the 84 cock as ' Paling' . At that time Mr. Araneta was breeding at my uncle Manoling Javellanas' place in Baguio. Another story I just recently heard. I don't dispute nor agree with it though as a friend told me that the 84 cock died somewhere in Iloilo. Mr. Paeng Araneta is best to answer.

Its utterly fascinating to hear and read about the stories behind the original lemon 84 broodcock. I hope Mr. Paeng Araneta would have the time to share to the cocking world the msytery behind the legend. The sweaters are good no doubt. Im excited as an observer to see another strain be developed as the winningest fowl in the world out of Filipino ingenuity! Mabuhay!

i should have ask Mr. Paeng Araneta about the Lemon 84 when he came to visit me last February. He was with the "Main Man" of Cebu Mr. Glenn Lim to check out some knives.

mr paeng araneta is really gentleman . . .
he was our mentor at one cocking school

he can tame high strung fowls in couple
of minutes! his gentle handling and magic
    touch for fowls is unsurpassed!

those who knows mr araneta will attest to
    this

LEMON 84 prose by TRES MENTIRAS

LEMON 84 flies and glides on top of the enemy, it leaves accurate shuffles too fast for us to see.

LEMON 84 has an off-beat tempo, that destroys the game of its foe.

LEMON 84 would then throw it finishing blow, that leaves the other no chance to crow.

LEMON 84 is now " BETTER THAN EVER " with improvements made by the MASTER.

LEMON 84 has now better genes, it comes in YELLOW and also GREEN.

LEMON 84 has won through the years, to PAENG ARANETA cheers!!!

    - Tres Mentiras:lol:
