Yung mga may pension na for life, do they still need to save in your opinion ?

    Sir Kidd S,
In my opinion, as for those who are presently retired with a monthly pension (for life) and are enjoying the BEST that life has to offer, like in your case at sa iba pa dyan na mga retired, if i may say.

I guess everyone, even those not retired needs to have enough amount of Savings or Cash Reserve of at least low 30% - high 50% of annual income so you have an "emergency fund" when unexpected expenses arise.

Having enough money during retirement years can also help maintain your standard of living and pay costs for illness or accident, also helps to pay medical costs (if no medical insurance).

If i'm not mistaken 'fixed' ang income ng mga retired. You still need a large amount enough to last you 20-30 years. You don't want your bank account to run dry while you still have another 20-30 years. So as for me, you still need to SAVE.

It's not how much you make, it's what Uncle Sam allows you to Keep.

I wish we have a collective consciousness of wealth so that we can help our country and the world to become wealthy.

See not only yourself as being wealthy, abundant and joyful but see it also for every people you meet everywhere everyday and all of us as happy.

Check the book A Happy Pocket Full of Money by David Cameron. Its one of the great book I have ever read. There are other books written by the author, but this is the best selling book in his site.

Where you at counts a lot too...

The pensioner$ are not in a fix income...coz the exchange rate changes up or down. And in the case of the US Military pensioners, theirs goes up every year...in line with the active duty ones. Let us not forget some humors ha, hehehe.

A pension at age of 40, 42 in my case, is an awesome feat...as it is for life, or the rest of your life and your spouse if you chose it to be.

    Join the US Military...it pays

oh, by the way...am working again, huhuhu.

    Thumbs up God Bless America!

Thanks Sir Kidd for sharing us the information. No need to worry about the future dahil may monthly income for life. More Cash Flow coz it goes up every year. I salute you Sir!

    gemini1,
Thanks for visiting this thread and for sharing that site. I tried the free audio included.

And here's a tip from an expert. If you're just planning on your retirement, the very first rule to follow is - Never get married and get a Vasectomy OR if you plan to get married, make sure she signs a Pre-Nuptial agreement especially if she asks you - "Don't you trust me?"

that is why japan is relocating some of their pensioners here via the Phil Retirement Authority since their money is inflated if spent here. I think some villas are being setup in Subic already for the first batch and one in the province of Gov Verceles.

Yup, what I mean is if your priority is money, then don't get married and have any kid/s...hehehe.

kasi Needs and Wants...these things increases in multi-folds if you get the above

Now, what do you want in life? Have a happy family or have a happy SELF?

    oh life, parang buhay...hehehe

    morissey,

Kasi kung puro liability ang iniisip natin.. that's for sure money down the drain, ika nga. Lets make sure that whatever we buy will at least somehow give us Money Back.

For instance, kung nakita natin yung kapitbahay natin na bumili ng latest Plasma TV, or bagong kotse eh bibili na rin tayo, hindi smart decision diba? We need to focus on making smart decisions with our money rather than spending money on liabilities. We donít need to make an impression to other people para lang masabing mayaman tayo or IN tayo sa mga friends natin.

    Sir Kidd,
You're right, once children enter the picture, married couples are really in financial trouble. The costs to raise and educate children are staggering.

I still believe that spending helps the nation's economy. But i just want to emphasize that we need to SAVE and should at least spend our money wisely because its our Hard Earned Money.

    philippines different strategy??

sa tingin ko ang pilipinas ay kailangan ibang strategy when it comes to our ideology..

    kasi sa pinas e maraming mga klase ng tao na mahirap pakitunguhan tungkol sa pamemera.mahirap ilagay ang negosyo sa pilipinas,{sa palagay ko ha}

katulad noong year 2000 ang interest ng time deposit e halos 12% per annum pero ng makaalis ako nung 2001 ay halos biglang bumababa ng sagad.pwede na sanang patulan yun.yung kita mo rito in $s den itimedeposit mo sa matibay na bangko like LB rcbc.,bank of pi ay pwede na ?para ka na rin sanang me negosyo kahit malayo ka ?

    ito nmay opinyon kolang

alam ko me manenegosyo pa jan at this time

They sure look good but I didn't tried it.
