    I use jiffy before i turn lose from the brooder and have had no problems.. as for tampering, noone dumb enuff to tamper here but i dont see how they could tamper jiffy, its like a piercing.

    my friends back in P.I liked jiffy,just received my order from randal burkley for them,but
    it's up to you to choose.better yet,use both then select in your next batch.

    jiffy... can put en on with regular pliers, and they are less noticable... i don't like the way the tab hangs out on the zip

    Hey GaCoondog , i know what your talkin about , i saw the same problem w/ em myself .But If you insert the Zip kind in the way ( direction) i do , cut off the point and spin it back thru you wont have that sharp point sticking out. I never leave the excess of insertion point on it . this may not be the way the guy who designed the Zip to be used but it works better for me .

    thats the way i'd do it if i used em for sure... to be honest, I don't really want people being able to look at my bird and see a wing band, not that it really makes a difference...lol just the way i am

    I like zip better Because they are alot harder to tamper with and if you ship birds, I think that is important.

    I have used the Zip size number 3 for ever on my Spanish Breeds and I am very Pleased....
