Are you talking about Joe in Yuba area sir I went to visit him with friends he's got some good ones in there. I prefer the straight combed more of an off beat style with power those peacombs are also great. They are mostly crosses to kelso's and roundheads if I remember it right that was 2 years ago. None for sale when I asked.

I kept asking everything haha! He was hesitant at first but after having watched me handled ' some of his gamefowl he said that Im a chicken man. I said off course I love them I was raised with chicken's all over our house in the Philippines. Then he started telling me which is which and how they were bred, he even took me to the brooders and showed me how they look like when they are chicks. Very picky on his breeding cull ruthlessly and kept only the best he also showed me that almost white broodcock in the back kinda big and nice didnt know how much he weigh though. He told me almost everything about them I think I just forgot where it originated from. His place is nice ang clean and kept telling us stories of his vacation in the Philippines. If I ever going to get me some blues I will definitely get it from him.

I don't know how Mr Cogburn is doing but I wish him well. A very fine man. I met him many years ago at Red Arrow. Wonderful Gentleman.

Was wondering what consistently meant . I have showed blues my whole life. now I just raise them and an occasional poultry show. When legal they were in the money 50% of the time. winning hundreds of derbies over the last 35 years. I think that's consistently . Not trying to brag. Just setting the record straight.
