    you have a point here
    maraming local parawakans
    na magagaling at graded na
    at subok na sa longknife
no need to make lots of experiments

we filipio's would like to breed the best so we have to look. Sameway why you import western fowl when we already breed it here. 1 problem when we buy local fowls is sometimes we dont get what we need and it becomes expensive, when imported fowl cosy just a litle higher,

i guess same thing as you guys going crazy about the apache and musashi and others with sweater, cowans, kerneys, etc.. they are also imported but from the states when there are already good blacks, reds here in PI, right?

whatever wins for you, just a matter of preference..

    good day mga parekoy

so far ang alam ko sa thai are good for naked heel figth and kahit ilang oras mong ilaban they will figth until they die, malalaki ang mga pure thai umaabot sa 3.5 kilos ang bigat nila tsaka slow silang pumalo but be careful pag tinamaan ka ng palo nila kasi they have a lot of power to kick, ang thai are good only sa parawakan figth they slow and powerful

kong eh cross mo sila for lk make it sure na 1/8% lang ang bloodline ng thai para mas mabilis tsaka malakas ang manokis mo it will take a lot of time para ma perfect mo ang gosto mo sa manok mo

kong gosto mo ma ka learn about thai bird check this site www.ganoi.com

sana makatolong ako kahit sa konting kaalaman ko

pauwak, this thread is under the chicken talk forum, please use english so our friends from other countries could also understand.

what you posted is the common belief of a lot of sabungeros, myself included.. that was before I had experienced first-hand in breeding and raising them..

this is what i posted on the first page:

from what i've learned through my friend who have this blood for a long time and got his breeding materials directly from a big breeder in Thailand.. there are two types of thai asil.. spurred and non-spurred type.. get the spurred type as they are suitable for the knife since they are accurate cutters and steel game, their size is also not a problem since they are small compared to the non-spurred type..

the non-spurred type is only good for boxing and endurance as per my friend..
the Thais that i have proves that not all Thais are slow, single stroker, low-headed, weighs more than 3kilos nor you need to breed them down to 1/8 to be suitable for the knife..

    these are 1/2 Thais:
    1. 1st win at 9mos.(unscathed) 2nd win at 11mos.(nicked on the right shank, already healed up): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tP0hPayU_rk&fmt=18

    2. sparring of his brother against a 3x winner Kelso/Roundhead(2x in stag derby, 1xhack): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBAawLc2Za8&fmt=18

i may be just lucky to have been gifted a Thai that i like.. i would like to get another pure but i have to go through the hassle of getting them here again.. maybe when i really need it..

pre, there is a province there that i can't recall the name right now that specializes in breeding oriental for spur fighting.. ask around where is the spur fighting, not boxing and get it from there..

it would be good if you could get the eggs but i don't know how much it would be.. my friend got the hens for RM3k each, he had to purchase 10 cocks at RM2k just to get the 2 hens..
