    Real Power Strain/Power fowl?

What strain of fowl has the most powerful blow's/hit's that U have sever seen? the one's with un-real power! I'm not talking about what breed's are supposed to have power -like the (hatch fowl)..I'm talking about what strain's of fowl and what breeder produce's these type of fowl for example: (Ray hoskin's- hatch,Red fox- Claret's or gene batia's yellow leg hatch's) ...a family of fowl that Power is consistant in thier breeding!

i have this kind of cock, lemon-sweater cross wine red, white legged black spurred and i've considered it to be the most powerful cock in terms of power.I am still observing this cock if his power is consistent but for now he is in moult. My neighbors dont want to spar their cocks against this cock he nearly killed 3 cocks by head hits. I am planning to use him as broodcock coz i want his power to be inherited by his offsprings.

Unhappy Re: Real Power Strain/Power fowl?

Thank's for the replie's....The reason I'm asking about power fowl's is because a certain fowl came to memory.....OK about ten or more year's ago a good friend of mine imported fowl from Mr.Jackie Phip's I think it was a Butcher cock, in the first spar W/glove's on this cock broke the leg of the other cock whithen the first two buckle's! "damn that was some power" I said to myself....well a few month's past and we decided to spar him again with another import cock of the same shipment, thinking the fist spar might have been a fluke or an accident and this spar should be fine....Wrong ! this time he broke a wing and a leg.....He was put in the brood pen,but he got killed by one of the typhoon's we had that year...and we never produced any .

    Re: Real Power Strain/Power fowl?

Pure Gilmore hatches for now... they are the only pure hatch I have seen that can punch like PACQUIAO.... Fast, powerful and comes in bunches - the problem though is its not as ACCURATE as the Lemons or Roundheads.

It depends on how we define power. To me a power cock is a fowl that can deliver multiple power blows with unaltered force even up to the time limit of ten minutes.

The yl Claret crosses that Larry Carter won the Hawaiin Derbies with .. they turn a lk into a chopping axe and the ace cocks were deadly with sawn spurs even .. seen them many , many times uncouple , nerve and kill good roosters just sparring.

    Walton Hatch

I agree that the Orientals have a big punch alright but the location of said punch is what makes it so devistating. THose NEck and head blows are hard to over come by normal fowl. Now as far as body cutting fowl I would have to say Walton hatch. THe orginal stuff from Jack Walton and sold to Paul Harvey of Odessa, Texas, way back in the 50s. THose same fowl went to Birdie Smith of Odessa and then on to Eddie Henley of Odessa. Good Cut and Decient Speed and more bottom and power than I have ever seen in any other fowl. THey are still winning and going strong.
