All depends on what weapon. For sk, and gaff I would say with ylhatch,Goodey greys,or butchers. For the lk,I would say sweaters, kelso,or roundhead.

Aug./Sept. 1996 Gamecock add for Glenn Justiss
On June 29th, in the Texoma-Hawaiian Derby (the biggest, toughest one-day derby in the world) Ladd and Todd Freeman assisted by Mike Glover and Donnie Joe Sparks scored 7-0 using Albany Crosses. They were all 1/2 or more Albany. Some were 1/2 of the Kent Davis blood. The Grey Soldier Entry went 4-0 in the premlim. The following weekend Ladd and Todd Freeman hauled the left over Albany crosses to Springbrook, Kentucky (over 800 miles). Their score was 1-1 and 3-0. Some of these Albany Crosses had been hauled over 3000 miles this season. Their total record for the year is 74 wins with 19 losses.

Pullets will be available begiining in Oct. They are: Murphy/Albany, YLH/Albany, Grey/Albany, and Blue Face/Albany.

I guess that right there will tell you how Mr. Justiss breds his albanys himself so maybe that will help.
