A breeder-friend in Negros bred this, from all-import Dinks. Very unique color pattern on a ponkan. Pretty and pretty-good sparrer, too. Now in Manila.
Sama rin ako pag lakwatsa mo. Congrats on your Rambulan successes.

Yun sinabi ni Malviolo (Pao) na bloodline dyan talag sumikat sila Escolin, at sila Arman Santos nga ang gumagamit.
15yrs back, magagaling na breeder na talaga mga Escolin brothers, but their produced where said to be exclsuively sold to a cocker in Central Luzon. After that partnership the cocker was a little down on finances and could no longer hold on to Escolin, so by the early 2000s the brothers started making a good name sa cocking world, but it was until they hit the Boston x 5K line that they began to be known. They also have Grey x (boston/5K line) that are excellent birds as well.
I heard they are great persons to deal with, and their prices for stags are very reasonable as well for their stature. I once talked with Arman when he was just starting to get from Escolin and he told me the prices. I saw some of his birds with other friends and they fight decently well.
Eric , thru years of exposure to Big Fights, surely knows what it takes to win in today's tough competition. He said he produced a lot of birds this past season, more than any other time. But, I ll take him up on his invitation to visit his farm and see all his fowl personally. Then, share some pics and insights.
Good luck on your fights.

I agree with you he should be a good source of birds because he knows what it takes to win BIGTIME. Initially i was surprise to know that his farm is in GenSan then later i recall PA has a farm there too, and if i go back to one of my conversation with Jose Co of Ninja Feeds ( he used to be handling the swine production ), he told me he can raise hogs there to 90-100kg in 4 mos time from date of birth, which normally take 5-6 mos. he said the weather condition there is quite friendly compared to the rest of the world. So it makes sense that GENSAN have some areas there that suits Livestocks.
I would like to request if you go there take a photo of the offsprings of the CPRJ Grey and those staright comb dark red Lemon (this is just my assumption).
By the way, I found out that one of the places that i keep some birds in fairview has a short cut to San Mateo cockpit, so maybe during those not so busy schedules i can have some birds fought there.
Have a great chicken trip.
