    Larry Carter

Does anyone have any info.on Larry Carter and his fowl.I went to his farm and purchaced a Bates Grey rooster from him.I once seen a man fight another grey that he also got direct and I loved what I seen because he was dead game.Just wanted to hear from someone else if they have had any experience with them.

    he is a good handler
    he can tie as well

a friend from OK once told me
"Be careful in selecting stocks.. make sure they are not pointed...some folks point their fowls to show customers to make it look good..."

He's been selling for a long time and I bought some Pumpkins from him back in the 80's when he lived in Prunedale. He's moved around alot since and I believe he was successful when living and showing in Oklahoma. I saw him kicked out of the ring at Copper State(by Doyle) for crippling the leg of his own bird to ensure his bird lost in a fight that had been bought.

I'm more curious as to what YOU thought of his present farm and the fowl you saw on it.

Well I really didn't like how his farm was set up and also it was pouring rain that day but he did sparr alot of roosters and they did sparr like real aces.

larry carter gold with mclean-leiper hatch blood(no parawakan blood)
they possess rapid multiple shuffling with extra power from the hatch.
they shuffle multiple in the air without billhold.

this cross is our favorite than our mclean-leiper hatch x larry carter gold(too aggressive and too much infighters).they(larry carter gold with parawakan blood) fight like sweaters and have brain and smart of parawakan(maingat at angat sarado).
larry carter gold pullet with quarter blood parawakan.....the one in front (gold color).

If I were going to get Pumkin Hulseys, especially for the L/K, I'd get them from Garma ( If he'll part with any ). Garma got his direct from Larry Carter back in the 70's when they were at their best.... Garma has improved them over the years!

Try his kelso, they fly and they are good in the bottom. they can kill the other rooster with no blades in them, that's how strong they are.

Im a big fan of larry carter fowl especially his bates greys and his golden greys. Im surprised there are not as many people in the philipines using his blood. There style is perfect for the filipino show smart, high breaking, good cutting. they are the highest breaking fowl i have seen!
