roundhead to add more flight
hatch to add more bottom
it's up to you which fighting traits you prefer to add. but my personal opinion is cross to a RH.

from what I've read from another site posted by Mark Marsh he wrote that Kelso was the family that he had success crossing with "his" Butchers.

We have a real solid family of Butchers, they are strong power fowl they have thighs as big as your fist, and medium to high station, they kick hard and cut deep and deadly, they can win in quick fashion, we do real well with them pure and crossed on our leiper hatch, and muggs, we are trying them with the rh's, we have several to test this coming season 1/2 rhx 1/2 butcher, here is a pic of one that came straight comb, they came both ways.

Butcher crossed with Mclean Hatches make excellent LK birds. add some Claret and now you have the make up of the Lemon!

The Claret family has some Butcher blood in it. Phil Marsh beat Madigin in a gaff main and Madigin didn't even consider challenging Marsh in the short heel.

Hello Bro Marlon
My Butchers came straight from Mark Marsh's brood pen and Oscar Akins from way back when. The stags are a cross from these 2 families. Kindly send my regards to Bro Albert.

best butcher breeder, who is he?
to all breeder americano or pinoys,
I would like to ask you all breeders around the sabong world anybody knows where can i get such good butcher breeder of all time? I had a friend have a butcher came from perter uy i don't know what butcher he got but he want to mentain the family, i suggested to get another good butcher blood to continue the family but were can i start to look?
pls help my friend, if there a contact no. of such butcher breeder it would be better.

if that butcher of your friend came from peter uy, and you want to preserve the line, try to go back to the same breeeder, mr peter uy himself. with all the bloodlines that he is maintaining, he may have several family of butchers that can be mated to your fowl without making the offsprings inbred. it may help to note the wingband number and the date when your friend's fowl was bought so that when you go back to him and buy another butcher, they can just trace the record of your existing fowl and give you a fowl that is not very closely related to what you have now.
in that way you can be sure that the offsprings are the real butcher line and probably not too inbred....
just my .002cents worth..
