My Friend in sport, I think that if you are first of all worried on what your fowl will look like you have already started off on the wrong foot. Personally when I breed I choose breeds that will hopefully compliment each other to help create a better bird. Wether I am looking to make them faster, stronger, betters breakers, grounds fighters, better station just to give you some examples I feel that is what your first priority should be. Regarding the sweater/kelso cross that you want to attempt depending on the type of fowl you have you will be adding smarts to your sweater and also better breaking ability. This is just my opinion please forgive me if I offend you in any way that is not my intention.

I dont know what kind you have so I cant tell you positively. I can only tell you what mine come like. The kelso I have throws a few spangle although its not a 100 percent spangle family. When I cross them I dont get any spangles anymore until I line breed back to at least three quarter kelso. I have crossed them with the sweater and have yet to get any of the half and half to come spangle.
