    blackcrow!

I belive the correct family name will be Murphys. I did some research of that bloodline my self sometime ago.. i read some where that Bob Howard was purchasing alot of murphy or murphy crosses from C. Smith, but there was a disagrement. Dr. Smith fowl (Murphys, Azils, Leipers, and Kelsos) are very well respected and know among top of the line breeders around ALA area. I might be able to help you. I was presented that bloodline by a close friend or partner of Dr. Carl Smith. This is my first season adding them into my breeding program. My friend (the one that presented them to me) speaks VERY HIGHLY about them and he very seldom let any go. He offered them to me since about 3 or 4 years ago. I finally decided to accept his offer. My friend claims they are supper cutters and SUPPER GAME. that no blood has been added to them since 1930, and that even do they are VERY INBREED they retain their power and stamina. ii can tell you they are med-small they resemble very much a spanish type fowl, but have a full rounded body (like most power type american breeds). I have no reason to doubth anything my friend has told me about them. All the fowl I have receive from him has been HIGH QUALITY fowl. Send me an email or pm. I will ask permision to my friend to disclose that inf or give you the contact number.

I asked my friend about C. Smith. He said Dr. C. Smith still alive, the one that passed away was his son (last December, but the Son never messed too much with gamefowl). email me or Pm me

    Murphy Whitehackle

From the looks of the pictures, looks like they come pretty small. But they have some of the best looking bodies that I have seen. And all this is from looking at a picture!
