I like the Malaysian knives. Thin, low point, curvy at the tip. One or two buckles and that's it. In Malaysia, the fights only take about 10-30 seconds. The reason is the blade.

    Re: Deadliest Blade design (LK)

Short knife alignment is to the tendon on the inside of the knee move his toes up and down and u will seee it. Also the tip over the center of the spir gives u good all around performance. Move it to the top of the spur and u will have better cutting in the air and move the tip down to the bottom of the spur for better ground cutting. Then there are several style knifes to choose from but the double edge half moon is a good all around knife but if u know your fowl you can taylor the set up for there style. As far as going for the longer knifes in lk i hate it. Seems like people are taking away from showing the skills of the roosters and going with just getting a lucky shot in the air just for the sake of winning i mean u might as well just give him a gun and train him to fire it on the break same differance. Just wish things would stay traditional so that u get a true test keep lk the length of the shank and sk 1" or shorter there getting to be close to lk lengths in some circle also. Just my opnion though i want to test my fowl and make sure i breed the best its not always about winning but u have to be honest with yourself about your fowl.

but then again, it need skills on how to place the knife properly.
Jack Go and Giovanni Ong are expert on this department.

way back 2009 where more than 4 inch knife is a taboo.
Mr Jack Go tied this bullstag's knife.

    i agree........................

I respectfully disagree. IF Jack and Giovanni are also expert in tying the 1 inch short knife, I am 110% sure that their aim is exactly the same with that of the 6 inch knife. At any given point, the bullseye of the 1 to 6 inch knife is exactly the same spot.
Just the way I see it.........[/QUOTE]

    Re: Deadliest Blade design (LK)

Watching the Peruvian fights on you tube, I came to the conclusion that they are using a VERY DEADLY knife! Seems to me that the fights are twice as fast as the LK style were used to.
It looks like every time the bird lifts its knife leg major damage is done!
Has anyone ever used any Peruvian style long knives on smaller birds than those Jurassic looking roosters they fight in Peru?

It's not advisable to use the Peru knives on American gamecocks. Peruvians are 3-5kg. The knives are too heavy for our standard 1.8-2.4kg.

maybe someone can make the knife in smaller size. half of the original size should fit American gamecocks.
