Ive seen many post on Ylh but I'm dedicating this one strictly for Stuarts... how do these differ from say pinnion, hoskins, mclean, and the rest of them. Body, looks, stlye characteristics etc....

they come dark and light mostly with white streamers in the tails and neck and wing feathers the authentic once mostly like this as i have known
but some pure stags only has white streamers but not yet on the neck and wing but as they molt out the white under hackles will show

they are good cutters and very powerful

very nice pair from blackwater, bai.. is this the stag that you're breeding those spangles hens?

i am doing a hatch cross with them as well, but i am using a blueface from Glenn.

i had a stuart cock several years back from BXU:

I have 2 types of YLH...the mclean and stuart are opposite in characteristics. the different between them the color feathering and fyting style. Stuart YLH strong in the air but too slow in turning but have power and accurate cutter...the feather is dark red color and lots of white under hackle and not good looking. The YLH-mcLean strong in the ground have power and speed but not accurate cutter ...his feather color orange like a sweater looking. I can only speak to our YLH thru our experience. here is our YLH-stuart

yup bai draven, we crossed the spangles to a pure F1 of our stuarts.... we already have some cockerels out of the matching, looks like spangles too. good luck on your breeding bai.
