Re: Goode Greys from Windyhill Gamefarm

I have his joe goode greys presently on my yard...i got a trio a couple years ago...i have nothing but 14 plus month old stags on my yard now..And i hatched alot more out this year and still hatching...What i have of his is big body greys...i would say above average size..They have big breast and their backs are large...im thinking the majority will be around 5.9 - 5-14 at cock age..i have only pure greys so far....im still figuren out if these are worth the effort and time is why i havent crossed any...They have very good station...med to high..and some closer to high..but they have good balance at high station which is impressive. So far they have been very gentle and easy on the hands and arms when handling. I have majority of yellow legs and a few white legs with red on them..They have all been straight comb...im enjoying raisen them right now but the true test has yet to come...theres alot more information i need to get from my joe goode soon to be cocks before i decide to keep the line...

We have a yellow leg line are both pea and straight comb and are a lil bigger than average size.Do your's show any sign of an oriental influence? Our brood cock has the high station like you described with a pea comb kinda look's like some oriental in the blood.

i have not gotten a pea comb at all...the last 3 years of hatchen nothing pea comb...I dont see any oriental influences in my stock...my birds are little longer in body than round in shape like oriental influences have..but they are big boned birds...very powerful...When did you purchase ur yellow leg line from windyhill gamefarm...

I am sorry forgot to put my are not from Windy hill. They are not round either just the high station and pea comb make an oriental like influence. They are aggressive, powerful type of chicken that was showed in Oklahoma crossed under Hatch most every weekend in season when legal.

no he's not from Windyhill. actually he is my own breed from Ray Alexander greys

it looks like that Joe Goode and Ray Alexander has the same stuff - the Chocolate Greys which they bred according to their taste
