I think my updated long tari is set with the regular style.
The tip aligns to the fork as illustrated here.
It is same angle as my old knifes.

I was watching some youtube Tieing the Fork knife and i noticed that some tie the knife with the knife aligned more on the right side of the vent. I usually tie mine aligned with the toe. I made an illustration. The alignment i tie is the one on the left. But the ones on youtube is aligned more like the one on the right.

LOL, maybe i should have labeled it both left feet. But i am assuming people should understand what i am saying.

Anyhow, i am just going to aim it for the center of the vent. Been winning with the small knife which was aimed to the vent.

I reading on another thread about knife alignment. Some say to align it to the spur, but some negative things for alignment to spur is that the bird may cut himself. Another says, to align a small v to the prop toe between toe and spur. What do you guys align for birds that kicks out without billholding?

I finally tested out my new blades this friday and went 3 wins no losses.
So, after using it, is it better than my old blades? I would say Yes.
First and second show proved the blades are good. Third show won
solely on gameness as the other bird was good and had no cuts, but gave up
on the bite count from exhaustion LOL. Anyhow, I cant wait to put some on
to my own birds cause those 3 on friday was for my Brother in law' birds.

    Re: Tari Names and pictures

Back when I was tying the fork knife I has knifes that were from 2 1/2 up to 3 1/2 . I also tied the socket knife out of the two I like the fork knife seemed to me that the kind of cocks and stays we fought could creat more damage wih the fork than with socket. I leaned to tie the fork knife from a couple people I was showed how to aim or point the kife, and played around with the setting of th blade. Also learned that you can over heal a cock or stag and cost your self the fight. With all that said it is best to know your birds
