Hey Will... that info ya wanted... in 1957 Mr. Everret Bell went to H.H. Moores & selected the beginning of his Claret line... in 1982 I went to Everret Bells & selected mine, I bought 2 pair... 1 cock was a picture perfect cock ( dark red, white streamer & white legs )... the second cock showed more to the Whitehackle infusion being a lighter red.

    Re: HH MOORE CLARETS

In my opinion...the HH Moore Clarets are the Most Bloody Heel roosters I have seen. They can point a Spur better than any other, it doesn't take many of these and I do not care what is on the other side, HE IS GOING DOWN....they are not wing fighters, this is what I call a POWER COCK.....Folk think because a rooster makes a loud pop when he hits he is a Power Cock, I prefer one the points his SPUR and DEEP.....it does not matter how bitter Game or his level of Livability, the other bird cannot live under a cock that cuts like this......I think the old HH Moore Fowl were the best at this.....

    Re: HH MOORE CLARETS

How about here in the P.I.? Anybody can suggest who produces quality Claret lines that are proven winners? My partner would want us to acquire some.

He wants the Dicky Lim White Clarets but I am not quite sure if those whites are pure clarets...

    Need others opinions though...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

    Thanks guys!

My friend in Louisiannsa has them. When crossed on butchers he got great battle fowl. He said that they had a reputation of being tough in the drag and real strong.

    Re: HH MOORE CLARETS

Those young Clarets were out of my best stuff... They were just so late hatched that I was afraid they wouldn't make it through the winter here... so I sent em to ya... to help them & you out... if you can turn your luck in raising them around, you should be in business.
