    Re: MANZIEL GREY

I have raised Manziels for years, no regret. I would take good care of those pullets and see how they do. Good Manziel blood is hard to get, and hard to raise. I like mine better than any grey's that Ive had, very active, trouble, and personality, good grey's!

Best thing about these greys is they will cut you in all the right places and are game,game,game...a perfect balance of the two most important attributes.

There are two kinds of Manziel greys, a yellow legged family and green legged one. Both are excellent.

I didn't know that there is a green legged family, I acquired a stag that came green legged. I thought something was amuck in his breeding so I lost interest in him, now I will give him a chance. My other cocks are white legged and hens yellow, they thru some yellow legged stags this spring.

    Re: MANZIEL GREY

The original Manziel Greys were the yellow legged ones. Bobby Manziel Sr. bought out Milo frost. The green legged greys came a little later, I think through there partnership with C.C. Cooke. I believe, Bobby Joe fought more of the green legged ones. My dad saw them win all over Circle pit, Sunset and Oklahoma.

Here are some from Gameock magazine

    Re: MANZIEL GREY

At Windwalker Farm, we are fortunate to have both families of the Greys that come direct from Bobby Joe Manzell. We have been asssociated with the Manzels over the years though showing their fowl and feeding for big shows back when it was legal . we fed and conditioned the cocks for a 7 cock show in Oklahoma with Galo Melton and his family. See winning picture in photo gallery on this site. The Manzel family has always showed exceptional Grey Fowl.
