Yup yup the pegs and leather boots are the traditional type but very well made. I can only use the tapes and the plastic knife condoms. Will give you both the items when we meet again.

good morning sir jailbird. i also celebrated my b-day with a tare-tare session where i tied my first knife and luckily i won and the chickens who are k.i.a. are cooked for my b-day meal. i am very interested in knowing the basics and latest knife tying to the point that i always dreamed about it when i slept...kinda obsessed, as i looked at the pictures above i was overwhelmed. i'm from mindanao, a municipality next to davao city called santa cruz, davao del sur. someday God willing i can join your tare-tare session. just one lucky championship will suffice...hehehehe good day!
Happy Birthday Sirs Jeb and Joey!!!!!
Happy Birthday Friend JB!!! Wishing you Many More tari tari years to come

Jackie pm me your address I will send you the boots from bantonspur ;-) and my modifications too. Thanks!
Hi redkarani and golden buddha thanks for the greetings. Much appreciated and hope to seee you guys one day - and make it a tari tari session.
RED, im from Davao too ;-) I still have our house in Central Park. Am in Mindanao 2-4 times a year for work. Lets meet up one day.
Meanwhile enjoy the video of my birthday white ;-)
Hi Al and Redkarani - thats a Kelso X White Claret. The Kelso blood is most likely responsible for the evasiveness. He fights like my Cutter lines but only comes in a white package. Hoping to have more like him this breeding season.
splendid fighting style sir. do you tie the knife on your chickens sir? how long is the knife that was tied on the jb white sir? does the length of knife goes on with the fighting style of the bird? what about the position, is it traditional prop toe, eskwalado, or buak tahud? pardon my questions sir but i want to learn more...thanks
Thanks Serge !
Red, our knife tying principles are very simple. I dont tie on piki or tihaya legged birds. I cull them. So alignment is simply along the plane of motion of the cutting stroke. Length is standard knee length only no matter what style :-)
Alignment is inner prop toe to the inner knee border via the spur.

So far its the Cutter line (red and white variants) and the Hennie line that I see as my signature lines for the LK. And Blue-Girl (asil hennie) for the SK. The black crosses are still experimental - so I'm keeping pure lines of Bob Price's black as well as Sids from Ray Christian. Same with the Zambo Whites - multiply the pures while assessing the crosses.
Too many yards - maybe I should just sell them all and buy roosters from the subsequent breeder so i can focus on conditioning and gaffing hahahahaha
Anyone with new ideas for knives or weapon systems for the upcoming WSC and cock derbies?
However, if you have time and can do a hands-on yourself then go ahead and breed... But if dont... Then just buy them... At least you can still improve your conditioning methods and knife tying....
Just a suggestion my friend....
