Not to step on anyones toes or sound rude but i only prefer str8 comb blood. Just never really was into peacomb gamefowl.Which every breed has its good and bad qualities. Thanks again

    Re: PHIL MARSH BUTCHERS

I bought a pair from Mark last year. Both look real good. The pullet is almost about to hatch her eggs. She has 11 eggs. I also crossed the stag to a Reb Williamson Albany pullet. The Albany blood is from Richard Wilbourne.

    Re: PHIL MARSH BUTCHERS

I showed some cocks for a friend of mine a few years ago when sprinbrook was open in the short heel and lost our money fight in a 6 cock and the five we won with were 1/2 butcher 1/2 whitehackle and lost with a Albany. The butcher crosses were some rough tough power cocks and could have won just as easily in the long heel. Hope this helps since you prefer straight comb fowl!!

Got the Red Richardson Butchers, same line? Very clever and can perform well crossed with Hatch, Frost Grey, Asil and Kelso.

    Re: PHIL MARSH BUTCHERS

L n c that btcher/wh cross dont sound bad. i like something different you know thats the game. im gonna try that and see whats comes about. IM bout the power i know they say them butchers put it to you and cut you up.Im gonna try the btcher/clrt and btcher/ wh also may try btchr/ klso.I dont really want awhole lot of fowl maybe 20-30 stags/cocks. i figure i can do just as well as a man with 300 you know. would be alot better to keep up. I dont want to get overboard with it. Thanks!

Red got his Butchers from my Grandfather back in the 1950's.

    Re: PHIL MARSH BUTCHERS

Hi Mark, would you say that by now, the speeder blood has been bred out of your present day Butchers ? In that case, it's mainly whitehacle blood ? I don't know much about Butchers. Thanks for sharing info. silver
