Congratulations to the winner. No offense buddy though I have to disagree about going against the best. Maybe the best in PI but that plane ticket and getting fowl there is very expensive. I am not trying to put down the derby at all so please do not take it that way. Some of the very may not have yet to show up in PI. Then again they may never come over to PI to fight their fowl.

No offense, just give credit where it is due.. to win a world slasher title was never a joke.

but the best of amer cockers can compete.....just let some believers finance/sponsor your cocks....and your entittled to compete...

but first breed and trained your cock in lk fights....

lk fights is like eating at mcdonalds and burger king....fast and furious! with extra hot sauce.....

i'm with you sir.give credit where it is due.if people believe they have better chickens that can compete against the best, plane tickets are not that expensive.

'Was in Cebu this early January and watch a P5M International Invitational Derby held at Victor's pit (Talisay , Cebu) and saw about 5 US breeders that entered.
Sorry to say but the results of the US entries then were very sad and i just can't believe how unprepared those entries were for the LK. Made me lost some.

I am not putting down our US fellows but that was not fair as i saw it. Beautiful aged fowls but hardly anything to show versus PI breed styles. Perhaps it was just the lack of acclimation to the weather and humidity or poor conditioning/pointing.

world slasher cup involves the following:
    1. good bloodlines (which is almost all participants have)
    2. proper conditioning/pointing and good facility. ( you know better than that. you can't just ship your gamefowl from abroad next morning and bring it to the pit)
    3.your handler/gaffer
    4. finance
    5. last but not the least is LADY LUCK!

Yea I think captain obvious (Mr Roberts) could have shown some thought and perhappenstance, a little bit more sportsmanship with his "congratulations" above. The best breeder feeder and handler THIS YEAR may well have missed the Derby theretofore semi aiding in someone else winning
But I doubt even this theoretical person would have knocked out ALL three winners... The most successful American Cocker at wsc wasn't there this year (Nesmith /Black Water) but I am more than certain his fowl were there and likely in quantity, and likely well represented. I am also certain even if not especially they, would be sincere in their congratulation to the victors as they have lost as many as they've won there and know the challenge it presents. - yfis hotcocker.

Those who came are gentlemen enough to admit that they lost, (it's a gentlemen's game anyway!) and will come back another day to fight in this prestigious event because "It's more fun in the Philippines"!

No offense but to be the best you have to fight the best, in this case the best fowls are fought and shown in the World Slasher Cup, or come and prove us wrong. Peace..

congratulations to mr. intino and the 2 other entries that went home with the title!

there have been points made about why some of the foreign entries don't fair too well in the competition .. and much more could be added to that list i'm sure .. one observation i made this year is this .. there were quite a number of foreign entries that were more concerned about the pinay pullets on their laps and how many san miguel's they could drink than the birds they were showing .. there were those who you didn't see until their birds were going to fight, they fight and then disappear again til they're called up again .. there were those who were watching and after their entries are down showing escort their birds back to the cockhouse .. i noticed that these entries showed fairly well .. others were busy marketing bad habits it seemed like .. who could blame them with all those beautiful long-legged oriental grades around - but .. save it for after the araneta!!

    .. just my two cents!

rightfully said! untill you have fought the best and showed, there are no excuses.
we thought we have some good ones just by winning some bush fights here in the US till we tried WSC.not easy.no push over entry.all are ready and with good chickens.
we tried a couple of times way back.didn't win but we showed!
again my congratulations and respect to the winners, past and present.

OMG...really!!!! But most if not all foreign cockers in that contest are in partnership with some Big Time Pinoys. I'll put blame also on those Pinoy partners who allowed such things to happen while the game is on. That's a big no..no... in my little head.

According to Mr. Ali Intino,he used sweater hatch crosses during elims and semifinals.2 sweater lemons and 2 sweater hatches again in the final round.

Please allow me to answer. He did use CTD London Boy gamefarms' fowls(Predator) in the previous derbies he joined but not in this WSC.All fowls he used this time are his own breeds.Just exchanged messages with him awhile ago.On the other hand,CTD London Boy's fowls can hold their own.Otherwise Mr. Intino would'nt have used them. These 2 guys are good friends.

If I had the money I would try it over there. In all honesty I have a lot of respect for the winners of any derby. It is tough to win all over and there is good fowl all over. I have known guys who have had good solid fowl and never win a derby show consistent winning 3 out 4 or 4 out of 5.

Like I said no disrespect intended.

Oops, I did not know that the thread I have started has grown and created some exchanges of conversation already. Anyway, to answer your question sir, Mr. Ali Intino is a good friend of mine and to be fair with him, I'll tell you honestly that he hasn't used even a single fowl from me in his recent feat but instead he used all his own produce out of Biboy's broodstocks. My fowls are inferior from Ali's when it comes to quality, he is my idol in this sport and he deserve the victory and accolade. Lanipao is correct..
