The trick to getting white fowl in whitehackles is always breed to the lighter side and eventually they will come that way. I know a man who got his morgans and gulls to come solid white

The gamest family I know of will come white! I love white hackles . My mentor who had Whitehackles since early fifties always said you breed them long enough you'll get white ones and brassy backed ones!

NOT PEDDLER FOURWINDs _011 , U EVER HEARD OF USING A DIFFERENT USER NAME? THAT MEANS having 2 different names on a Computer. By the way I peddle around these poultry shows in OKla every 2 weeks, I peddle in the the 3 cocks ,4 cocks and 5 cocks shows in mexican and american.. So if u ever come here and visit your oklahoma friends maybe u can teach me a thing or two about peddled chickens....( Did u get my number ? i pm you so u can call me).cut-n-shoot /aspen1..LOL

I know cut-n-shoot personally. I haven't spoke to him in awhile, but I know he shows good birds. First derby we met at, he won it with white roosters. I don't know how they were bred, but they were pretty good birds.

I know he got his penny and kelso from the same place my brother's came from. The original breeder told me that cut-n-shoot culls very hard and breeds the best. Those little 3 cocks have had some big boys going home with their tails tucked in. JMHO
