I've seen the dead end fowl showed for 22 plus yrs always been bitter game and strong. Never seen a cold one in the greys or hatch. I own the hatch for years there good pure and crossed.

Mr Roberts birds are as good as they come in my opinion.. That's all that's on my yard...I prefer the 3/4 BF x 1/4 grey...they do well either way though.

I know a man that has his hatch and they r cold. All he shows is the gaff and those hatch can't hold it. I know another man that has his greys and he says they r game but can't fight.

AMEN. Most get birds from someone who got them from a guy that got them direct. BS

Carry it to the bank and write checks on it. They are good as they ever was. That is 100% facts

Ok r,bennett, "back in the day" I saw a entry win two consecutive 7 cocks, one a 42 entry and the other a 49 entry. both derbies were for a good entry and had plenty of name competition. The last derby was won with Harvey blueface, damn fine cocks. the earlier derby won by the same entry was brown reds, at least the ones I saw. just wondering if we were talking about the same entry and if the brown reds from derby #1 was also dead end birds too.

Those little Dead End cocks have won more big major circuit shows than most anyone would believe. Been doing it for over 50 years and yes they are still doing it

I wonder about the Harvey fowl. I want to buy some as I remember as a boy going just about an hour away from me and he took the time to show me around like I could buy something knowing I was a poor white boy. It meant a lot for him to treat me like that being a nobody with no money to show me around. I have heard they wasn't the same I don't know personally. I wish I knew as now I have the money to buy. So many people now will lie for each other and some that say they still good as ever and some say they junk. If they are what they youst to be anybody would be proud to own.

an he keeps them around? its hard enough to win with solid fowl,no sence in handicapping yourself with below average fowl.it takes just as much feed an space for junk as it does an ace, yfis
