Good point but being uniform is signs of a stable gene pool aka pure blood line.

If they're not uniform they're not stable....they would be crossed up fowl.

A person with your experience knows that.

Hope these aren't the pure Puerto Rican toppies

After a few generations of line breeding and cross breeding. I started getting off colored birds in plumage color and also leg color. I get mostly yellow legged birds from my Toppies, but will also get some green legs .. Again I don't breed for plumage color or leg color. Those two things play no role in what I select to go in to the brood pens. And yes I think BB Reds are awesome looking birds. I am particularly found of Whites myself.. You take care and have a good night..

Nice pearl eyes on the bottom pic.

What kind of Asil did you use ?

Has to be a good amount of oriental in him to have them that pearl

Zino with my knowledge of genetics if I wanted to produce a solid White flock I could or any other color if I chose to do so. To me plumage color means nothing. Birds win and lose no matter there plumage color.. I am more interested in the performance and good qualities in my line, rather than the color of there plumage. And most if not all Puerto Rican game fowl are mutts anyway. A mixture of A little bit of everything.. From Spanish to Cuban and even some Pava blood.. Don't buy in to all the Pure Puerto Rican hype, it's all B.S..But thank you for your insight..

I'm thinking of doing some brother sister mattings to get them more stable or at least try too.

But fowl from Puerto Rico are very unstable genetically

So why do you sell them as pure Puerto Rican fowl.

Isn't that what Bushwick is calling you on

Re: Al Sanchez puerto rican gamefowl

    Have a good night....

But after you sleep will you please tell us why you've been selling your fowl as pure....we know what pure means.

You could have said Puerto Rican GameFowl

    Or al Sanchez fowl.

But you're not from Puerto Rico and your fowl are crossed.

    I understand Spanish fowl.

I don't want to debate what Spanish fowl breeding.

I'm talking about what you have been advertising and selling.

I'm not trying to talk shyt here Al.

I'm simply trying to put and end to this neverending argument you have going with Bushwick.

To me it seems that he's right.

You have been false advertising and misleading people about your fowl.

I'd like to read what you say after you sleep and read this.

    Good night Al

    Thats bull .

All my pearl eyes come from crosses.

Al you used the term straight bred and pure over the phone. That’s one of the first question a buyer asks.

Also so where the hell did you get green legs from?

On a cuban thread you showed a walnut comb entire blue darkish legged hen.

Also you was selling them as white toppies . That was your marketing campaign.

In Puerto Rico the terms pava, chispiao, and mestizó are used to determine non straight Puerto Rican fowl.

Also toppy fowl are not naitive in Spain. making toppy non Spanish fowl to start.

Your fowl Al are heavy in pava ( oriental/asil/jap)

I think you're only trying to get this thread deleted.

You said....I said...he said....she said....at the end of the day. Nobody cares.

It's cool that you're trying to defend yourself as best you can. I respect that in a man.

    But this conversation is over.

I'm done replying to you on this or any other thread.

I don't want any trouble...but also don't want any sort of friendship with people like you either.

    Good luck with your fowl.

    See you around.

Re: Al Sanchez puerto rican gamefowl

Where did the green legs come from?

Why don’t you get none since you said the original hen was Dom?

If the original cock was not Puerto Rican why do you call them Puerto Rican?

Did Your boy T give you the hens as well?

what are those hens since they are not the Juan Diaz line?

why are the stations of the birds and physical features change so much?

Example creekside has a jap style I got both. Oakride and the ones over the phone.

Which is it jap, asil, or oriental?

Why do you you deny it?

Since you say they are not pure you agree they are crossed up fowl?

Last question are you going to flip out first with attacks or pray?

I am the first in my family to breed Gamefowl and I may well be the last. To fight to the last man to defend the noble Gamecock is an honor.

thank you CIGAR for bringing respect to our community members and hopefully we can get back to fighting for our, Gamefowl rights together.
