    Mr Lonnie O'neal From Ga

Whats up everybody, just wondering how many of the GA cockers on sabong knew this man. I believe he was from the Valdosta area. Ive got a dvd copy of a tape he made in 1990, the last year he showed. He takes you through his Chicken yard shows you where he used to have the tie cords spreaded out, and where he had the birds then. He shows you how to trim the stags by yourself without having to wrap the bird up in a sac, tour through his cock house and methods of how he worked the birds, and bunch more. The end will almost make you tear up as he explains how much he loves the sport and hates having to quit. I was to young to have known him, heck i was just entering the world in 1990,lol. But my two brothers both knew him and said he was one of a kind to be around and to learn from. Im trying to figure out a way to upload the video, my computer wont let me copy the dvd to it, so ima try and video it while it plays on the tv and then upload it on here. Hopefully it works. yfis Jay

If the video plays and then starts to stop here and there to much, click on the icon that looks like a sprocket and put the quality down to 260 it ought to play better. Then again yalls computer will probably play it better anyhow.

real sad to see someone past there prime and giving up the sport they love but that is life.... he does have some real nice grey i would say regular from the looks of them, the sparing and the way he dubs is very impressive. i Did not like the way he pick up the roosters but everyone has there way and no manfighters from what i can see. thanks lawgreyman14 for the upload and check you pm.

Wealth of knowledge and I just watched 15 minutes so far. 1990 was video date so making it took a lot of effort. Notice how spry the big man of his age is around his birds.

The rooster he used to show different ways to work one, Mr Lonnie fought him 3 times as a stag and four times as a cock, the last time he showed him my oldest brother bought him and those same split socket gaffs in the video for 75 dollars, still have those deadly split sockets they're alot shorter now tho. My brother fought him 4 more times and won 3 before he got hit in the neck. He was a 1/4 Griffin 1/4 Moore Claret over Pinnon Yellow Legged Hatch, My brother said hes never seen a better rooster. My brother said he won 7 of the fights in the first fly.

My first rooster was off of a trio that my uncle got from him. I was 9 and don't remember a lot about there style or even what the cross was, but that first stag is what got me started.

Great video man. I met Mr. rattlesnake Jackson, Mr. Oneal talk about. went to rattlesnakes place with a friend and he bought some brown Reds.. never forget that day, because Mr. rattle snake had a little dog that rounded up all his pullets right into a pen dangest thing I ever saw. it was a little rat terrier female.

Nice video to see. I trim stags similar...but I walk the tie cords and do about 10 at a time, then my eyes seem to betray me cuz the next day I see trim jobs that look like a drunk did them! But touched up they look OK.
