    Mexican feeds

I googled it and found some comments but not really a thread about it.

I feed Formula Gory by El Nogal for their yard feed (I add a thing or two a few times a week--whole corn, oats, pellets), and for the keep's grain mix I use El Nogal Premium.

Which Mexican feed do you guys prefer?

Anybody in the US using Mexican feed? Or anybody in Mexico using American ones? I've seen Blue Bonnet here and there but I think it might be too expensive.

I also wonder if you think feeds in Mexico are bad quality? A bit unrelated but I read some comments by Americans about dog food recently and it seems everything in Mexico is subpar (even Purina).

EntrePelea pellet for me. Tried it a few years back and liked the results so much that I now bring it to the US. Feed 3 parts entrepelea 1 part grain. Has animal protien, hard to find in the US

Gory for yard feed, I also feed Entrepelea from Purina but only to the young free ranging stags and red force is what I use for my grain mix during keep. I personally tried Blue Bonnet for keep but didn't really like it, Red Force works out much better for me and I also think Blue Bonnet is over priced.

There used to be a local feed here in town called machuca mix but that feed went away after the man that created it passed away!

I use the bluebonnet and it is high here at my local feed stores but i think it's more the feed stores marking it up it's 26 to 28 a bag which ever they want charge i had a friend pic me up a few bags at his feed store it was 18 a bag so i think they charge what ever they want to most of the time.

Funny you mention that spring creek. Myself and Hoghunterdave just had this convo. I am feeding showtime which I like and is the only feed I can get here in southwest Florida and Mr Dave is roughly 2 1/2 hrs north of me and the same feed up there is $6/$7 a bag cheaper and he said at 3 different feed stores same price which I only have one that carries it.

Isn't reproductina a crumble? Do you feed in cups?

Well I'm a man of my word. Maybe it was that dang grey cock on the front that got me to buy it oh wait that's the only kind I've found down here so far. That is the conditioner as my hand me down birds could use the little extra and the nutritional label was torn off or I would have posted pic of it as well. Have a great night gentlemen

We have our Feed store special order Rocking Rooster Pellet and Five Grain Scratch. After reading the label. It has everything a Gamefowl needs, but it is an American Company

Here in Puerto Vallarta it comes in pellet, I like it much better than entrapelea. No I feed on the ground, not in cups.
