Probably nothing to be good gaff fowl I just believe if u took 100 and fought them in the sk they would put up more Ws than they would in the gaff.

Anyone who has had chickens for any length of time will know you can never keep them on grass. You can move Pens once a week and theyll still end up on dirt. Everyone on here probably needs to move there Pens asap! I have 62 bow overs and they all need moved, will be sometime this week as soon as the grass dries enough to mow

It is hard to keep them on fresh grass but we do what we can when we can. I have seen guys on this site who has holes that fill with water where they have the round pens at and they do just fine. But I do lime the ground when I move my pens I fill it helps also. If I didn't work everyday of my life and work out of town also I would do things diff I guess

    Re: Larry Romero mcleans

I have some mcleans i got from larry years old and some recent. I crossed them on some black blood and reduced the black to 1/8 and some to 1/16 black. I believe my friend in hawaii he said the first ones won 24 straight fights before losing the first one. The mclean's of larrys fight smart , break high and back off when needed. All the good traits of the cross came from the mcleans. The pure ones come dark and black rings around the eyes . I only got very few that came lighter over the years. They also have excellent station as well.
