We would put 10 cc of iron Dextran into that and shake it up. Then give 1/2 to 1cc to brood fowl before setting up brood pens. Or 30 days prior to putting cocks up for a show.

In my opinion, giving B complex 3 hours before show time is a waste of time since it takes much longer for these vitamins to take effect. In fact it may work against you doing it this way.

Hmmm. Did you try it? If anyone wants to know if something works. Select a group and spar, then run um through your keep/method and spare them again. It ain’t rocket science.

Thanks. My buddy said he quit using it because it would make them have blind flashes during shows. U ever heard anything like that?

Using a tuberculine syringe, 0.2 cc would be fine. Good luck.

I have used the same exact stuff for many years, but never as a pit aid!! I give 1/4 to 1/2cc!! I will say this, try it just sparring, at 24hrs from injection they will be as slow as syrup!! 48 hrs is fine!! Remember b and c vitamins are water soluble and they will expel what their body don't need along with good moisture

Not too mention B vitamins help transfer carbohydrates to energy and the cocks are empty. Never made sense to I

If I wantd to use B - Complex I would use it once about 8 wks before the show and once 4 weeks before the show. Then if you were doing a 2 week keep I would use B-12--1000 and an insulin syringe with the fine needle and give .25cc on Sun, the first day of keep, .25cc on Wed, then next Sun. .25cc, then Wed. .25cc . Some people also give .25cc soon as you get to pit but I never did. All the shots went in the breast, changing sides of breast each shot. Any excess the rooster don't absorb is passed out thru the moisture in his feed and won't hurt the cock. B-12 helps make them hungry and helps with energy and sharpness.
