These whitehackles cross extremely well over my Laceys. Will try them over Brunner hopefully I will get similar results. The first Kearney blood came from Roy Ivan an old breeder out of California he told my father he had infused Gurly Kearney into those whitehackles. Later on my father an his partner order Kearneys from Curt Langston an that's how these Kearneys were breed they do have more of the Langston blood. I only have 3 brood pens at this time only enough to preserve the bloodline for the future.

Nice Fowl Hogwaller! I like that Mad/Law and that Butcher. That is a very nice Pen of Butchers. You ever try the Butcher cock over them Law hens? I have 2 pens of laws I always keep hidden so when friends come over they pay them no attention and dont see them lol..., I inherited the laws from my Dad they was his favorite, if you haven't tried that Butcher over a Law, try it some time I'd recommend it boy oh boy... Good looking fowl all the way around! Thanks for sharing. yfis Doc

    Re: 2019 model

Thank you sir. I plan to blend some Butcher in the Greys this year. I would say all of my Greys are from Mr Madigin's stock. I have never known a good Butcher infusion to do nothing but improve a family. Thank you for liking my fowl. I have been spreading these out to some beginners here hoping to get them on the right road. At 70 I can see the need to perpetuate some of the old breeds.

I should have put "cross" on them. They are Pumpkin and Red Hulsey with 1/4 Griffin Claret. They are penned now and are really developing well. That photo was taken two months ago. The old Wortham Hulsey are amoung my most favorite of all Famalies. Thanks for liking them!

    Re: 2019 model

I had the pleasure of owning fowl that Henry Wortham brought back to Florida from Hulsey. I agree on the favorite family. Mine came from Frank Lasaga of Jacksonville Florida when he passed away. They were the deadliest fowl I ever seen. Frank called them Fire Marshals.

I know what you mean. It looks like the other cock is going more and suddenly the Wortham is the winner. TL Orr and some of his friends took slow motion footage of the Hulsey and he told me they did many things even a trained eye would miss. The Hulsey, he told me, were his favorite. You are very fortunate to have water right from the well.

Excellent HogWaller. I know its not something we hear abt all the time but that Jap with Butcher or for those who have medium station quick footed type Lacy RH, they crossed very well at one time and may for you as well. But youre right, dropping that Butcher in never hurts a thing. We used them Jap X in the G. Old friend of my dads had some Jap blood and thats how we got acquainted with it. We messed around with Jap blood at one time many years back.
    Best wishes

Was fortunate. Lost them when a disease hit me. Let a friend have a yard of them because I lost heart. He passed away before I could get any back from him.
I would get rid of all I now have to have them back. My brother had them also but got out of the chickens at the same time. He left most of his with leon Keneday. Who moved to Georgia from Jacksonville.

Those are awesome! Ive always liked them and they also remind me of royal guards lol. They look solid CA. The ones Ive seen could really get after it and were a real pain in the A to have met up with. I have no doubt yours are no different and are excellent
