    Your question is very broad as there are many different types of shamos as there are American gamefowls. And maybe you are aware that some American gamefowls are not bred for sk shows.

    I must admit I am not interested in sk fowl, however there is a guy not far from me who has shamo crossed on hatch that he allows friends of his to take for the 1/4 show not the 1 inch show. He says they do well for them but I am wondering what is it these fowl bring to the table? High station? That alone is not enough and I actually prefer med high station fowl as opposed to the stork looking fowl I sometimes see. To me they are more balanced when not so tall. But there must be something more to them as when poultry are judged being tall alone does not produce blue ribbons. So what other attributes could these fowl bring to American poultry?

    Shamos are quick and smart for tall stationed birds. They cross well with hatch. POV
