Feed amount for 3 month olds

Hi guys i just thad to seperate my 3 months olds since they where fighting. Having multiple ones in indivual pens i cant provide continuous chick feed. How much is still ok for them to still develope properly at their age per chick/day. the feed is 17% protien.

best to let them free feed till there around 4 1/2 months then start mixing the yard feed in. Feed enough to fill them up twice a day so they are always full. You don’t want to underfeed if you want them to grow off right.

Feed them 40grams per meal. 2x a day, morning and afternoon. But if you are a busy man, you just feed 80grams dry feeds 1x a day with water in separate container.

3 months? Feed ad libitum to max out their growth.

soon as the full feathers are in, i use as much protein as i can find. ground dog foods with 20 or more percent. oats will help keep them feeling full. dont grow them too fast, it will mess up the bones

Padilla, Id start small and increase and adjust as necessary. Youll find the right amount for them.

Feed ad libitum at 3 months of age but feed only 15% cp. You will have pencil feet stags.. Experts advise to grow them slow.....I think thats good for them.....

Start introducing hammer milled grain concentrate at 4 months old but give freedom to peck stone grits.

Start @ 10% up to 40% grains @ 4 months old; 50% grains @ 5 months old; 60% grains @ 6 months old; 70% grains @ 7 months old up to precon & con. Protein expander (e.g. dog food, fish & bone meal, beef liver, etc etc) at this point would help a lot. A few mixed vegetables @ noon will balance the diet. Thanks & goodluck...yfis..
