Re: Alabama Speical=Doug Odom
I don't know man . I've seen a trio he sent . It was supposed to be his greys , but they were Pea comb and looked more like a hatch / grey .. from the pictures I seen they were the opposite of what he had on his add

I went to dougs farm earlier in the yr round october and picked out a rooster a 4 hens doug took us for breakfast even stayed at his house that night but doug has 2 diff kinds of greys he has his pea comb gl greys which is called robin breast greys that's what we got or he has his ALABAMA SPECIAL greys which are yellow legged he made them with his gl greys and his albanys they are 5/8 3/8 this is what he shows in the picture of the gamecock book I think doug is a great guy and has a great farm and we picked out great chickens I highly reccomend him but like any other farm if possible go pick em out. Re: Alabama Speical=Doug Odom
yeh he has lots of greys on cords.anything from pure robins brest to albany/grey,gerrard/grey and others.lots of gilmores and albanys, roundheads and pure gerrards. The gilmore cock i got is out of a 7 time winner he called crazy head.and the hen is his half sister. He claims every stag that has ever came from crazyhead has been a winner. He told me everthing i needed to know about them + more.ready to go back to visit.I like doug i think theres lots to learn from him.
